Thank you for sharing! I'm about to do my first appt for sisterlocs instalation (the consultation appt) so I'm watching all of these to get inspiration. I have been on the fence for locs for about THREE years. I can't imagine how much growth I would already have if I had done this in 2018/2019!! 🤔😊

love this video. I just put in micro braids over a 4 day period ... well not as many I think I have 186. I combed out my locs in December 2019, then I had 76, I had them for 3 years. this go round I wanted them to be a little smaller, though some are really small. I am following you and your daughter, love the information.

I don't see how this really saves any time. 6 to 8 hours on hair is incredible to me. 🤦😮 I would think that her natural hair would not ever take that much time.
@LivinDivine3 жыл бұрын
It only saves time on the daily maintenance. Some reties with small locs can be very time consuming. With that said, short of her reties, she spends almost no time on her hair, and her hair looks great. But again, the reties can be timely, however, it's only done every 6 - 8 weeks. In between that time, it's wonderful.

Could a person retighten their locs over time? Do sections per day after work or school? I would have to do it myself.
@LivinDivine3 жыл бұрын
I’m the only person that has ever done my locs, and that’s exactly how I maintain them. So absolutely you can.

@@LivinDivine Thanks....I have eczema on areas of my scalp. It used to be very bad until I went natural. I do use Henna to dye my hair sometimes. But am considering locing my hair because I don't want to keep up with the braids (I do them myself) and the artificial hair. I love how healthy yours' and your daughter's hair look and I will be exploring more of your videos to learn. I want to begin in December to give myself time to learn about the process and DIY and hair care.

I am looking forward to hearing about her loc journey during pregnancy and after delivery. You know our hair goes through so many changes during that time. I am wondering if being loc'd mitigates some of those extremes with hair changes. Sending best wishes for a wonderful, healthy pregnancy and delivery.

I'm looking forward to see the changes of her hair as well, during and after pregnancy. We will definitely keep you posted.
