Thank you so much for the loc update. I've commented this before but feel as though I cannot say it enough, but your hair is absolutely beautiful. I've been sisterlocked for the past 6.5 years, and your loc advice is helpful to me as well. 🙂

Great video. Absolutely gorgeous locs. We need an update on the install you did for your daughter and how and if postpartum had any impact on her loc-ing process.

Wow! I stumbled onto your channel and see how many subscribers you have and wonder why in my three years of researching locks, that I never ran across your channel before. So of course I’m a new subbie now. Your locks are healthy and gorgeous! I bet you can’t even get out of your house without someone stopping you about your hair. I like the way you described how you combined your locks. My crown is still thin after 3 years locked and I’m trying my best to get it to fill in. I’m a lot older than you, so age might be playing a part in my thin crown. I will be going back to see previous videos for insight. Thanks for sharing.

You ain't never lied Sis. You ain't never lied. I couldn't agree more with EVERYTHING you've said. I think the only thing I don't do is conditioner. I can't be bothered to do the amount of rinsing required to get the conditioner out and avoid build-up. But you're OBVIOUSLY doing what's right for your hair because it is THRIVING and absolutely gorgeous 😍. TFS.

It is so good to see you again. Your hair is so beautiful. You inspired me a year and a half ago to braid my hair and let it do it’s thing. I love the freedom! I also agree with everything you’ve said about fullness. Thank you so much for your positive spirit and encouragement . 💙💙💙

I’m so so so happy to see you and your locs! I started my braid lol journey a year and a half ago after watching your 3 1/2 year span journey.. I CAN NOT WAIT til my locs are as long and luxurious as yours 😍

Hi Val! I must say that your chanel led me to the world and understanding of microlocs and sisterlocks.. I think your hair is so beautiful 😍. I am 11 months sisterlocked and LOVE IT! It was and is worth the investment for me...thanks to your chanel...

I had locs in my 30s and my journey was very similar to yours. I was in the UK when I got my quote for sisterlocks and the starting quote was relatively the same but in British pounds. I started with the tiny lock grid in twists but ended up combining a lot of them. I’ve spent my 40s loose but I do know I’ll probably go back to my locs eventually since I’m a pretty lazy natural. Keep rocking those gorgeous locs!

Your locs are absolutely gorgeous. My question is do you use anything as far as a moisturizer on your scalp in between shampooing and conditioning? Thank you in advance.

Have you experienced any breakage? I'm a diy-er on my interloc micro locs. And I get many compliments on my hair but there was one woman certain that I was going to have breakage BC my locs are small. Ive been locked 19 mos and they show no signs of thinning or breaking. I wash and condition 1 or 2 times a month.

When you began, did you braid to the end? I may have to add hair as my natural hair is thin. I will like diy. How many hours?

Oh my God! You are Octavia"s mom! She and her husband are a beautiful couple! I wish them a great life journey together! I follow her hair journey on their channel. Anyways, I am glad I am a subscriber to mom and daughter independently. Anyways, what is the conditioner you use? You talk about it without saying the name of the conditioner nor list it anyway in the links

I think our hair texture is similar. I have microlocs with twists and I’m just 4 months in. I’m noticing bunching in the back. Did you have this? How did you deal with it it in the beginning? Thanks
@ashleycbla Жыл бұрын
I asked this on someone else’s channel and she said bunching is part of the process and it’s a good thing.
