Hi Mary Jo, my wife started doing night shifts and on occasion she would text the night staff before bed, then she would ask me if I didn't mind. Thinking these texts were work related and how much she enjoyed managing staff I allowed this to continue through trust. She wasn't completely invested and did require constant reassurance, like you said: "do you love me," "I am like a grain of sand, if you hold me too tight I will slip out of your hand". Coming back to it, even when I did reassure them, it was like it meant nothing or that I was lying, then when I told them a joke, they would say that's childish but yet if someone else said it, it would be so funny....marriages can get stale but this is life, partners just cant keep giving, as once you reach your limit there's nothing more you can give....therefore there's nothing more they can carry on taking...which leads them to get emotional attached due to them sharing intimate experiences about their current relationship with others and telling them what they want, where the third party can jump in and said: "I would do that if you were mine". I hope you see this. I know this video is 10 months old. I work with my friend's wife. I have slowly noticed that she sneaks around with another man at work. I asked her about it and she says they are just friends. Yesterday, I was scheduled to go on a short trip to another building, and she was supposed to go with me. The other guy, a supervisor, made up some nonsensical excuses about driving a certain company car so it could pass an emissions test, and he decided that he should take my place and go with her. They didn't return for four hours. I saw them when they drove up, in the wrong car. She had the look of shame on her face. She is a friend of mine. Her husband is a friend of mine. Their daughter plays with my daughter regularly. This is very troubling to me. I talked to her about it and she told me lies and made excuses. I don't know what is going on, but it looks bad. I do know that I am not going to cover for infidelity. I am not going to leave her husband, my friend, in the dark. What should I do?

If you do not tell him what you know, then you are not much of a friend to him and honestly you are guilty of helping her to cover it up.

TELL HIM!!! Or at the very least, allow your friend to catch her in the act. If you know those two are going out to lunch together that day, call up your friend and offer to treat him to lunch and then arrive at the same place as his wife. Anything, just don't do nothing because that is how these cheaters get away with this shit. If it were me, I would at least give this friend a heads up to start keeping an eye on her because you are seeing inappropriate behavior with another dude at work. Or, if possible get proof of it by recording her interacting with the guy from work. you don't have to see someone actually cheating to know that they are flirtacious and there is something going on between them.

Is this possible? Is there any relationship affair-proof? Even if I knew these traits beforehand I would probably think that this is not going to happen to me. Nevertheless lack of boundaries seems lack of respect to me, so there would probably be a lot of fighting in any relationship before any affair occur. Does this sound logical to you? You are absolutely right, as a trusting loyal partner you wouldnt pick up on these red flags and definitely the arguments would arise as your partner would get agitated with anything you have to say, good or bad, as they are or have crossed boundaries, unbeknown to you.

We are human and no relationship is affair proof BUT vows are not just words..it’s about committment..maturity..responsibility and real love..people who have emotional affairs are spoiled..they want their cake and eat it too..they don’t want to lose what they have and they think they can have the best of both worlds….also…a controlling woman is more likely to have an emotional affair if her husband is a limp rag and slave to her..the affair is a REAL MAN..whereas men who are doing this simply love the hunt and mind control to lead to the bed..they think with their tool ..it’s a horrible thing to do either way and especially when children are involved…we are glamorizing this deplorable act in the media way to often..it’s disgusting..God help all who are involved in this mess..lives are at stake🙏

That doesn't sound like you did anything to heal your marriage...or understand your wife. Buying a sex doll, after someone moves into another room...sounds like an extremely emotional/social/relational immaturity. Why did your wife move to another room? What did you not listen to regarding her needs and boundaries? Do you have an immature view of relationship...as in unrealistic expectations, see relationship as transactional etc. Often, those who buy sex dolls have emotional unavailability. This, would be very painful for a partner. Emotional intimacy is THE most important thing to most women. If that isn't there, she won't want sex (most of the time). To just get a sex doll, vs reaching towards your partner is so, so harmful. Do you have dismissive avoidant attachment style? Do you have CPTSD? Those can cause a stunting in abilities to relate. Relationships require RELATING, which need humility, empathy, vulnerability. If you had a chaotic, or neglectful childhood, you likely had poor relational modeling. Please, please check out Tim Fletcher's series on relationships. A sex doll is so anti-relational. It is a narcissists toy.

Those who have unresolved trauma, and as a result...BRAIN DYSFUNCTION...are those who are prone to being "drawn" to an inanimate replacement for another human. It's like a warped emotional arresting. That, or there is a brain tumor, slow hemorrhage, autism, or other, at play, that affects the neuropsychological capabilities of the person desiring a doll.
