@@Psych2go The reduction of social media intake feels like something that resonates well! A post on a social media in my opinion doesn't always click like it would in something like general conversation. While the point in the video was to make yourself more "mysterious", platforms that encourage more direct conversation are where I typically live more just because you have a chance to integrate more with friendships. That platform could be anything from a coffeeshop to a discord server for friends, but as long as it doesn't detract from being yourself, it gives you a chance to breath and be productive

Conclusion 1. Be mysterious -less time on social media -more time on hobbies and your goals -listen more speak less -focus on others more than you 2. Good looking -face -haircut/change hairstyle -dress well -good hygiene -learn how to best express yourself socially -exercise -diet -embrace bad personalities and highlight good one. 3. Have free time? -fill schedule with fun and interesting activities -if people asked you to go out and you want to go and make friends, go. -don’t play breadcrumbing and benching -don’t go or be occupied by others a lot. Go hiking, hit the gym or party. Flow as the way you want. -be active and productive 4. Best version of yourself -genuine. Don’t pretend being someone you’re not. -find the aspects you can work on. -find qualities you admire and integrate them into your life 1) physical attractiveness = gym and improve your looks 2) personality/self-esteem = self-reflect, developing habits, saying affirmations

My therapist gave me some great advice recently when it came to relationships. She noticed I was usually the one feeling 'responsible' to make a relationship happen by confessing my feelings, putting in effort to make it work etc. She suggested this time, with any new crush I might have, I simply sit back and let them come to me, especially since I'm a girl and most of my crushes are guys. I think I tend to attract the wrong people with my habitual methods, because others start to expect to receive without having to give much. When I let people approach me and be the ones to start the relationship, I know it is someone who will care about me enough to put in effort, rather than just being after attention, and that's what I really want, so that's what I'm going to do :))

I love how "develop your physical appearance" goes into why and how you can be attractive, it's not "be attractive conventionally", it's being attractive in a way that's healthy for you and makes you feel great. As in developing yourself socially to what you're comfortable with rather than, develop it in a way that makes you the life of the party! It also pushes you to be healthy, not skinny, which is awesome for those who develop differently weight wise and has a different healthy appearance! Finally, I think it emphasizes that being beautiful in a way that makes you happy and healthy attracts the type of people who are attracted to that version of you, where you're happy internally and externally, and that would only attract people who are attracted to the you who is happy internally and externally. Have a wonderful day :)

I used to pour my heart and soul out to my crushes and it would bore them. I am still a firm believer in approaching your crushes, but the ultimate key is balance. Don't be too overbearing or too open. Don't be keen on trying to impress them with your awesome personality. Keep it cool. Stay quiet and listen to them often. There was this book I read called "The Rules" by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider, and one of the things they wrote is to be "hard to get, but easy to be with". Playing hard to get does sound manipulative, which is just not good to do. However, they did explain that what they were actually trying to say is don't completely free up your schedule out of everything the moment your crush or your date asks like a last minute meetup. I think the most important takeaway out of that is to make sure you got your own life activities prioritized, which is a subset of self-love and self-esteem

I like the disclaimer at the begining of the video 0:16, which lays the groundwork for the rest of the video. Without self-love, self-validation, and contentment, no amount of friendship will give you the love and peace you deserve. (Skips rest of video) Alright, moving forward, wow what an informative video, I sure have a lot to work on.

Numbers 1 and 3 are most important for me. FOCUS ON YOUR HOBBIES!~ KEEP YOURSELF BUSY!~ I have no idea about who I am as a person in general. I struggle making decisions on my own due to trauma and codependency growing up. I do not spend much time on hobbies. I do not spend much time making plans for myself. So even IF I were to ask somebody out on a date, where would I ask them to go? If I already have plans for the week, I can ask them to go with me. If I don't have plans, I have more hobbies and it will be easier to find something to do short notice.

As an introvert (I did the myers briggs test and I'm 97% introverted and 3%extroverted) 1. I listen most of the time and others speak, and I am mysterious, but when someone talks to me I get so nervous I mess everything up so that's a reason why people more likely aren't going to 'chase'me 2. The key to looking good is self-esteem and yeah no I do not have that 3. I hate being around ppl as weird as it sounds and I get so drained after socializing and my energy before meeting with someone is low already 4. This is the most hardest for me, I am like this shy girl that always helps etc. but when I'm home, I am like a whole different person. I'm sometimes funny, I can have my moments being loud and I can make conversations without being nervous. Idk why I am like this, I'd love to be myself and I think people would like me more if I actually opened up and was myself, but it's not easy. I just can't. And to be honest, the people I am around with ( my friends) show little interest in me. Because I don't talk so much. wonderin if anyone can relate

100%. I’m such a nervous person it takes months for be to not get nervous talking to a person. I met a girl in a class recently. I had known who she was before, and I definitely found her pretty and cool, but didn’t think anything of it. We started hanging out, not outside school very often, but talked a lot in class. We made eachother laugh, a lot. And then, I realized, I liked this person. And now I’ve messed it up. I started getting nervous. More that usual, or around anyone. Now I can barely form a sentence around her and it’s pushing her away. My self esteem has also taken a big hit this year and it’s really just so bad. I leave that one class I share with her angry and sad and drained. I can be fun, and cool, I really can. But now I really can’t in this class anymore. It sucks, it really does, I relate to you, and I wish I was at a point in my life where I could tell you it gets better, but I can’t. Good luck bro, I wish you the best

@@TM_Films1 oh damn, I really hope it gets better for you, but sometimes we just can't seem to do anything about a situation and sadly have to move on. I really hope that you'll talk with her again one day but also find new friends that are like you or accept you for who you are
@Timo_tvq Жыл бұрын
I wanted to reply cos I can relate 100%, I'm also this guy who tries to be helpful and tries to be liked by everyone. It used to work really well for me but after a while you kinda start to forget who you are yourself and what you like to do. Instead of what you want to do for others. That's also why I kinda left most of my 'fake' friends which were quite a lot of people. I just have a few people that I talk to often, and one dude who is just the same as I am. It feels good to have someone where you can just be you and where u don't have to put on a mask. Just like you said, I can also be fun and relaxed at home or with a friend(at least I hope). But when it's with a person I like or with groups of people I just get too nervous and stuff that I can't really show who I am. One thing that has worked for me is just doing some new stuff. Like changing your appearance slightly or doing/buying something new that makes you feel good. Cos if you feel good it also boosts your confidence a bit. It's just baby steps but I really wanna improve myself and I hope you guys are trying to as well.

My friend said that I'm too attractive, but I'm always silent and don't do conversations. Whenever I have a crush on someone they crush me back, but I'm not that confident to confess about my feelings, I just stare and wait for my crush to confess to me. But I still have no boyfriend. I'm just being me I dont fake my personality. I asked my friend what is the most attractive part of me and she said, ur smart, pretty and kind, youre a shytype of a girl which is attractive to some men.

Love your videos! I for example started working out like 2 months ago and never felt so happy in my life. Now I see woman looking at me non stop and even though I don't have anyone I am really happy by myself for some reason. I see couples hugging and kissing and it doesn't bother me anymore. I am just happy. Maybe in the future fate will bring me someone to my life so we could be happy together :)

@Psych2Go 2:49 I absolutely agree that sometimes changing one's appearance may go toward building one's self confidence. However, I fear that people might see this approach as needing to change themselves, not for respect for themselves and empowerment, but for goals toward being attractive for whomever their chasing. I just want everyone to know that you if you ever have to change who you are for somebody else, at the very least, re-consider if it is really worth it. (P.S. Love the content, and the animations are AMAZINGG!!!)

Hey Psych2go I just wanted to say. Thank you. I have watched a large amount of your videos, on my off time and they helped me realize i may not have been as happy or content with myself or my situation as I had thought and they drove me to seek the help I needed, originally when I had first watched a couple videos i was staying up for 2 days and sleeping for 12 to 14 hrs getting up anywhere from 12 to 6pm and I was bearly taking care of myself at all. It was just enough to keep myself going however over the last few years I have made a complete turn around, I got help talked to a couple perfetionals and now am sleeping every night, eatign every meal and pursueing some of my interests again, it is tough sometimes still but I've uses some of the tips you guys have pointed out and they really help... Getting up on time thats a win? Go me! Don't have an art piece turn out the way I wanted? Its fine its not easy with out practice or it gives the piece a bit of character... I just wanted to say Thank you for the videos and I hope others will or continue to be helped by them I know they helped me and the start is never easy but I got my perverbial ball rolling and once I stuck with it it got a little easier until I didn'e even realize I had gotten so far that I wanted to come back and... well, thank you and show share a bit with a channel that probably saved my life

This is a brilliant video on self love and self care. Of course these qualities will make you more attractive but more importantly, you'll look inward to figure out yourself and what makes you more happy and authentic, to the point you realize that you don't need to chase validation. This way you'll always have your back, regardless of external influences. Thanks, Psych2go, for this reminder. It comes at a time where I really needed to hear it.

I watched this a while ago, and tried a few of these things. I may have noone chasing after me, but I used to be really insecure about the fat on my body. Now, I love wearing things with thin straps that are close to my body, because I find the way it makes my skin pop out beautiful. Before I watched this, I didn't know that there were ways to boost me up like this. Thank you. (No, I was not paid to say this)

The point about mystery is a tough one for me. I'm quite extroverted, and because I don't want to give standard, "canned" answers to most questions, I'll reply with a fairly personal or detailed answer. This removes mystery, and also sometimes results in me talking for longer than some expect. I'm working on still giving personal answers, but ones that can lead to follow-up questions, rather than me going on and on.

Tip: If you're around someone (Mainly your crush) say something mysterious like, if they ask you "why are you so quiet?" Say something like, "there's a reason" Then walk away. That way, they'll ask you about it later, and you'll have another conversation starter. 🥰

If i could self-analyze myself I would be introvert and a really sentimental guy, I like to talk about something related to emotions that make feel touched, like getting emotional for certain series or feel stronger for certain advices. I have a defect though, my lack of sense of humor and tend to get easily offended that makes me end in ridiculous "salty" scenes pretty often for the lack of attention or feeling of injustice. IDK what kind of advice should I take to get more kind people around me?
@noobfolife12062 жыл бұрын
To be fair. Focusing on what you're good at will surely attract the right people in your life. There's no guarantee that they'll be what you expect but the people who come in your life through something you like are always a blessing. You and I are very similar and this worked for me so I hope that works for you as well. But a sense of humour really does help to surround yourself with people you like. And since you said that you lack sense of humour, I really don't know what to say about that😅sorry.
@kuronagiyurei2 жыл бұрын
@@noobfolife1206 oi thank you 😊 And about the lack of humor part, is just that people tend to do dirty jokes or treat sarcastically each other, and that's like a weak point 4 me since I'm autistic and these kind of social interactions are like a nightmare for me. Gaves me lots of headache and my anxiety increases awkwardly bad 😔
@meilirizz2 жыл бұрын
@@kuronagiyurei Positive affirmations might help you with that. Right now, you are affirming negative affirmations like '' I lack a sense of humor.'' How about saying '' I have an amazing sense of humor.'' Yes! The quality I most find myself drawn to is an enthusiastic and playful personality.
