@@BodyweightWarrior it's not that we don't understand the price but that the sentence throws us off. when we first hear it we register it as lbs per kilo. So weight per weight. So you're talking about how much it cost and we're not thinking about price at all. In our head you're saying you bought 10lbs of chicken. Then you proceed to continue to talk about weight but in kilos and it makes no sense. Then we laugh cause you meant money and we were thinking you bought a ton of chicken.

Lysyl oxidase is the enzyme that manufactures ALL connective tissue. It requires bio-copper as a cofactor. Bio-copper depends on its transport protein ceruloplasmin, and on the ATP7B enzymatic "crane" that loads up to 8 copper atoms into ceruloplasmin. ATP7B is activated by magnesium and retinoic acid. Retinoic acid comes from retinol and sun exposure. Oh, and copper in the food supply is required for it to be available in your body. How much copper is in NPK fertilizer? Why is copper not on most nutritional labels? Is copper available when GMO glyphosate chelates it? No, it isn't. If you value your connective tissue integrity, and you value your mitochondrial Mg-ATP production, get VERY familiar with what Morley Robbins shares from the scientific literature. His solution is freely given away. Bonus points are for those who synthesize what Robbins teaches with Dr. Barry Sears' anti-inflammatory Zone Diet.

Copper is underrated, liver is a great option
@wellnesspathforme6236
@wellnesspathforme6236 2 жыл бұрын
@@BodyweightWarrior Grass fed/finished liver. Glyphosate-laden GMO corn feed chelates the copper so it can't be used by the body. The grass has whole food C, and whole food C has the copper. Assuming the soil still has copper in it! Who is putting copper back into the soil? Anyone? Bee pollen has copper. Remember that copper is toxic unless first bound into ceruloplasmin for safe transport to all the mitochondria and cupro-enzymes in the human body. Retinoic acid and magnesium, combined with copper atoms, makes this possible. Each one can be a rate limiter, and the food supply depletes them all by default. Morley Robbins has a TON of relevant material discussing this perspective.

Watching you for four years now. Nearly every single video since then. Recommending your Chanel everyone that asks me, how they can get a handstand and become mobile. Both British KZbinrs. Next book should be: Animal Liberation

Appreciate the kind words and constructive comment. Have been more plant based but it causes issues for me. Blood work and energy is way better animal based, seems to be supported by emerging nutrition evidence too. It is much more considered that perhaps I go into detail in these videos. Ultimately this was the reason I stopped sharing these videos as I couldn’t be bothered with the comments (yours not included). It’s a very complicated topic that I would not consider myself (or many others that share videos on this topic) educated enough to talk on it.
@jimmahgee
@jimmahgee 2 жыл бұрын
@@BodyweightWarrior it could be worth addressing the complicated nature of this discussion though because in previous vlogs you have said stuff along the lines of “lol come on folks I ain’t even gonna go into that vegan guff”. You’re obviously a thoughtful person (I actually don’t appreciate the OP’s description of your “mindless” diet choices) and opinions evolve over time. If you’re sharing the reasoning for your choices and not telling anyone else to do - then that’s ok. Experts can advise.

Being 192 cm and lanky myself, also doing long distance running, I cannot fathom how would a vegan diet of 3500-4000 or more kcal with decent protein even look like or how much time and money would you spend on it. Sounds beyond awful honestly. "Mindless meat consumption" 🙄🙄🙄

@@christopherbloor3901 I don’t think you have thought this through have you? What do you think farm animals eat? It takes a huge amount of land to grow food to feed livestock. Think about it! The UK government’s recent food strategy report made clear that in the uk 85% of farmland is used to feed livestock. That 85% of land provides only 32% of the calories we eat. By contrast, the 15% of farmland that is used to grow plant crops for human consumption provides 68% of our calories. There are vast amount of evidence showing plant food diets are not only healthful but more healthful than any other diet. Population studies show the longest lived people eat a plant based diet. These diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, older adulthood, and for athletes. “ vegans are at reduced risk of certain health conditions, including ischemic heart disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, certain types of cancer, and obesity. Low intake of saturated fat and high intakes of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, soy products, nuts, and seeds (all rich in fiber and phytochemicals) are characteristics of vegetarian and vegan diets that produce lower total and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels and better serum glucose control.
