It's OK though, he armchair diagnosed her with untreated mental illness which obvs "made her" act that way rather than him recognizing that she chose to be an evil person. Also, he forgives her, so she's free to go around destroying other people's lives and getting let off the hook when she's caught because "mental illness."

Everyone in the first story was incompetent. Like they stated, there's a reason why you should always have someone else present when discussing disciplinary actions like that, the second he said we went into the stock room alone with her I was like, oh she's going to pull some bs. He's very lucky there were cameras in there.

@@ichangedmynameforyoutubeno, I don't think they did miss the point. After understanding the point, they also decided on pointing out the absurdity of OP playing up their powers of foresight and prediction when none is required for their point, because the story is very heavy on the foreshadowing and all but tells you straight to your face something bad is going to happen in the storage/stock room.

@@travisdeppe9172 I guess I don't have sympathy for OP's in stories like this who make decidedly foolish decisions like that. 🤷‍♀️ I wasn't sure what exactly Tonya was going to do but the second he thought it was a smart idea to confront her alone in the storage room I was like, she's going to claim he assaulted her in some way.

It is for me too! I have a good friend that just had her iphone cloned! Impossible you say, right? All I know is all her data has been breached, she's lost years' worth of her life, photos videos of celebrations, trips with her mom thankfully, etc,. No money that she's knows of yet, thanks to the bank's security. I too thought this was impossible, but apparently she is not the only one. One morning "I" was texting on her new phone, but I didn't. I don't know what the purpose of all this is, but NO ONE has been able to help her yet, Not Apple not her provider, It certainly makes one think. Her plight could happen to anyone!

My mom back in the mid 90's was working at an office job and one day was brought into her boss's room and was asked if she was friends or close to a certain man that recently was let go from the office. She had barely known who he was, just kind of existing in the same office without really interacting. She said as much, and her boss pulled out a box that was full of stuff from his desk they cleared out that he had left. Some of those things in his desk were printed out photographs of my mom. This is at a time where he would have spent time and money getting those photos, it wasn't like he just was snapping some pictures on his cellphone (which is still gross and creepy!!) but he went through the effort of developing the photos and keeping them with him. I don't know why he would have knowingly left those there unless he wanted to seem like a stalker, but I am glad he did because its crazy to think she would have never known she had been watched like that.
@NikkiC777

That's creepy. Glad they told her at least. I am surprised he'd leave that too. It's like he didn't care if everyone thought he was a pervy stalker type.

That sounds a lot like a 'shopping' addiction. He gets a hit of dopamine for secretly snapping a pic. He gets the printed, to recapture the excitement of snapping the pic. Just like every addiction, the longer you do it the less reaction your body gets, and you need larger dosages. With shopping addicts, once they've purchased the item, it no long has any value to them. Same with these photos: he will no longer be able to secretly snap those photos of her, so he doesn't need the photos. He sees nothing wrong with this behavior, so why worry about leaving them behind?

So obviously Tanya is crazy, but WTF was that guy THINKING cornering a FEMALE EMPLOYEE to REPRIMAND HER in the STOCK ROOM??? That was such an unbelievably stupid thing to do. It sucks that he had to learn in such a hard way but come tf on, why on Earth would he think that was a good idea?! Thank God there were cameras in the room! Also, he should have sued her... @@neilhaslam/videosYea that's what their whole premise is that if I'm on public property I can film anything that I see. There is one exception to this. And that comes down to easements, which are public access to private property like the side of a road that has no sidewalk. It's still private property but the auditor or anyone has the right to be there since they can't be expected to walk on the road. Not sure if that's what this guy was talking about or just a made up story or what.

Keep in mind, a lot of people DON'T know the rules... they watch a couple auditor videos, think they can do whatever, and then they break the rules. The real auditors know they can film from public access, but they can't trespass. Dude probably watched a couple of those "Cops schooled by this teenager!" videos and then thought he was going to be the next internet sensation.

Honestly I think that first story should be a warning to people that you don't just follow somebody into a room or you might not have any knowledge of there's any form of cameras and any angle possible capable of capturing any type of incident that another person is purposely causing to get you in trouble or you should always confront them in an open space around people I know sometimes you don't want to embarrass that person or be harsh with them but I think that's why you confront them in front of everybody or in a place where there's cameras where they can't just get away with harming themselves or screaming that you're trying to insult them or something like that because it could turn out pretty ugly so the guy in that first story got real lucky as well

I work at 100 year old building specifically at a restaurant inside 100 year old building and the wires and electricity are very poor and old and lack maintenance and one day when I was at the restaurant a thick red bolt of lightning shot across the entire restaurant. It was a foot thick and stretched a hundred feet. It hit the chair I had just been sitting in.

Story 2: I’m sorry, OP, but if you don’t want to get shot, don’t pull a gun on a cop. You seem like a kind hearted person, but I don’t think a simple hug would have fixed whatever was going on.

25:04 It's really sad that people can't add up and count change without a computer nowadays! But it does remind me of when working at radiology in the Bay Area, when the Internet went out we couldn't do x-rays because the orders are only online. It makes me have apocalyptic thoughts of the Internet going out. We older people know how to do things offline, but it will take a while to adapt during a long outage. Love you KZbinJoel!👍🤘🌹

I can count change but if I have like 20 people in my line and I’m scanning so manny different items it’s like my brain just goes mute and I can’t do it anymore. I’m on autopilot and the only counting I do is what they give me and what I give back. Anything more and ima have to pull out a calculator bc my brain is rotted from years of customer service and I’d rather not get in trouble for being short a couple cents incase I did for some reason miscalculate in my head.. I can say tho that I was jealous of employees who had more pep in their step and could do it without double checking with a calculator confidently. Oh and Plus people often try to trick cashiers by giving them change while giving them money and then saying they got the wrong change back. It’s why my boss always said to keep the money they give you to the side and separate from the register, so in my opinion it’s just better to use the machine or a calculator.

@@user-rb1rb6mo8nOf course it's better with the computer but people should know how to handle it in an outage. In this story, there's food and there is hungry people but they couldn't eat it because people couldn't count without a computer!

Story 2: Actually, guns really are just that fucking loud. I swear I almost went deaf from a brief trip to an indoor shooting range. You learn that it just sounds like short explosions. Ah and a shotgun blast sounds like an ACTUAL CANON Istg

I really don't understand how the auditor thought he'd won when Parky defended himself, tasers and pepper spray are illegal in the UK, so he was just waiting to get himself in legal trouble.

The one with the auditor was totally out of bounds and annoyed me to the point of being happy he got it in the end. The taser could have seriously injured someone. What a harassment!

@ondrejpalata8979 I've forgotten what happened in the story (since I heard it 2 months ago), but based on my comment... Tasers and pepper spray are illegal in the UK, so clearly some auditors have no idea what they're doing.

We really need to stop normalizing feeling compassion for those who attempt to destroy our lives. There need to be consequences. There have been thousands falsely accused people released from prison after later being proven innocent & the remainder of their lives in shambles. I was falsely accused of something at work & I have terrible PTSD now. I trust no one.
