A) poached salmon is served with a Mouseline or Aioli or any number of sauces. Never alone! B) Pan fry is only for those who WILL eat the crispy skin. C) When oven-baked ( paper or not ), the temp should NEVR exceed 250 F. in order to "slowly" cook the filet evenly.

Wow, wow, wow. This video is amazing; thank you so much for it. So helpful. I watched it and tried the instructions for baking the salmon, because of all the positive feedback in regards to the baking option. It turned out so well that my brother shared it with one of his friends, who then wanted more of it. And just like the video said, it was so easy to make. I'm mindblown that something so easy to make could turn out so good. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks again.

Finish cooking and enjoy It's my favourite recipe I've made and I hope you all love it
@GeekyEleanor7 жыл бұрын
My personal favourite is grilled. Salt, pepper, a little bit of lemon zest, let it sit for twenty minutes then get the grill as hot as you can then grill it away. It's crispy, but not oily as you don't add any fat except the fat from inside the piece of salmon, tastes great, minimal clean up as the moment the grill cools down you can wash it. Love it

The way my Mom does it , and in my opinion the best way to do it, goes thusly: Olive oil (and I mean EVOO, accept no substitutes) and butter in a skillet, with citrus grill seasoning. Best salmon I've had anywhere. Mom always has some kind of rice made alongside it, beef or chicken flavored, but really, the salmon is a treat all by itself.

@libbymoody25947 жыл бұрын
For the poached one, they really should've used milk or some kind of stock to give it a better flavour as the water will take on a lot of the salmon's flavour, making the salmon bland. It also looks really chalky meaning it's probably overcooked - they probably should've given it 15 minutes and then checked it to see whether it was cooked through, if that's how they wanted it done.
