Work on you acceleration. That will help the quickness. As for power, your body is only going to be powerful for so long (5-7 seconds), so you must continue to strengthen your legs to help withstand fatigue as long as possible.

Hello . My name Jasmyne a sprinter/ new hurdler. I’m a juniors track , last year I redshirted a season (17-18year) because of a injury but prior to that year before I was running 7.90 in the 60m (16-17year). Recently we had like a practice track meet this year and I ran a 8.44 in the 60m. I did go vegan last year 2018. Is that the reason I lost speed or it’s my workouts ? I didn’t train over the summer , for this coming season 2018-19 year . In which I just ran a 8.44 when I use to ran a 7.90 and I’m kind of at a lose here . What do you think I should do ?

1-3 days a week depending on where you are in your season. Earlier in the season you can execute it more. Deep in your season, you want to start tapering off (Doing less) so that in your competitions, you will have fresh legs.

Are you referring to everything in the video? If so, not everything is 1 session. That would be too much. You can break it up.

Well in Bro, but when accelerating one is supposed to make sure his/her hand are going straight and not across the chest in order to inhale and exhale easily. Thank you very for this educative video. God bless you.
