+Kayla Mayer most people use dry wrong. the thing that will cause you to have problems the most is by spraying it to close to your scalp. you should be holding it almost arms length away. it usually says on the can then wait two minutes and brush through. hope that helps

Those shower cap shampoo things are actually used a lot in nursing. Mostly for elderly or bed ridden patients. Works like a charm :D

If your hair is to dark for baby powder or cornstarch just use cocoa powder. I use a mix of cocoa and cornstarch with a few drops of peppermint essential oils and it smells like a peppermint patty and gives my scalp a nice refreshing tingle when I massage it in.

when you're in the hospital for a few days and can't really shower, for my body I got a bunch of soapy washcloths and I got a really weird shower cap which had like shampoo in the top part, and it didn't work because I have like really thick long hair and so my hair was really greasy until I went home and showered which sucked

I work at a retirement home and we use the caps often. We use it mainly on our residents that can't shower due to medical reasons or complete bed ridden. And trust me those residents hair gets very oily and smelly. But those caps make a huge difference! They look, feel and smell clean. They do work on short hair best, but if their hair is longer we use two.

Me personally I shower everyday but if I straighten my hair one day I'll wash my body but not my hair the next. and I'll use dry shampoo on my hair...its healthier for your hair and saves time. I never go more than two days without washing my hair though

Keep in mind that a mans shower usually consists of a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, sometimes a different soap or body wash to wash their bodies (although I know a lot of guys just use that 2 in 1 as a 3 in 1), and maybe some third thing. Done in 10 minutes. A woman's shower usually consists of a shampoo, conditioner (which you don't just rinse right out! Let your ends soak it up!), body wash and shave, and possibly a variety of other things such as exfoliating your feet, brushing your hair, singing and dancing, crying, and a million other things. Some girls do their eyebrows in the shower. So if you add that all up it takes about a million hours. That, plus the fact that it's not healthy for most people to have their hair washed of its essential oils every day, plus the fact that dry shampoo makes your hair look about 500x better than regular shampoo.... Dry shampoo for the win.

Thanks for this. I broke my foot, am having surgery to repair it and will be stuck in bed for 2 weeks, minimum. I already had mobility issues, so that plus a broken leg has made it very difficult to get into my shower. I figured out a way to get my body clean, but was not sure what to do about my hair. I feel better knowing products like this exist 🙂

The days and weeks after Hurricane Katrina I would have LOVED to have had the wet foaming shampoo that you don't have to rinse! That's definitely going in my next hurricane kit. both the spray and powder shampoos are great alternatives for on the go. the wet shampoos like the cap is for bed restrict people that can't get to a sink. For those products you also needed a bowl of water with a small towel to rinse excess.
