Let's fly together in this 40 min aerial yoga class through hip openers to improve mobility and flexibility in hip and pelvis area. In this aerial practice we will do some fun transitions as well as dynamical and static poses and exercises while stretching and strengthening outer (abductors) and inner (hip flexors) hips, eventually ending the class with deep relaxation and meditation☺️👌🤸🧘‍♀️ This aerial yoga class is great workout for all levels aerial yoga practitioners.

MORE ABOUT ME: I'm Camille Shakti and I'm the founder of Lithuania’s first aerial studio “CAMIYOGA” since 2014. As a lifelong student of the many yoga styles including hatha and vinyasa yoga as well as contemporary dance and movement therapy, have been honing my skills since childhood. My professional education includes the international Sivananda TTC (RYT 200H, Lithuania), World Peace Yoga School TTC (RYAT 300H in Rishikesh, India), aerial yoga TTC, Yin yoga TTC, Thai massage and Masters in public health & nutrition. 4,000+ hours leading yoga classes and teacher trainings, teaching more than 1000 students and preparing more than 200 aerial yoga teachers worldwide. I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT E-500, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance. I live and teach yoga in Lithuania and now worldwide through my online courses.
I have developed a unique method of aerial yoga with authentic CamiYoga Sun and Moon salutations, exercises and poses. First time back to aerial yoga after knee replacement in January. I’ve been doing beach yoga since April so I was pretty ready. Full butterfly only comfortable for about 15 seconds but I got there! I turned 72 yesterday. That’s your audience! Have you done a kids aerial class, maybe using the hammock down low?

Thanks so much for these lessons! Your Halloween episode was the first to catch my eye. It was so fun and I was surprised I could do the poses as a beginner- your instructions are so good. Now I am going through your other classes. I am new and have a single point yoga hammock. Do you have any advice to stop swiveling during some of these standing balance poses?

Thanks for feedback ☺️💕 well, you see, I’m explaining the poses as I don’t see who actually practicing behind the screen, it might be new people, who trying the poses for the first time, and for me the alignment, safety and adaption of the pose is the most important, that it would be accessible to most of the aerial practitioners ☺️

Very useful class, thank you very much!💖💖💖 I feel very good after doing this poses 🤩 Do you have any videos of how to get the splits with the help of hammock?🙏 I dream about getting them but can't increase flexibility with regular stretchings...😣

32:32 this is the hardest pose for me .. I almost died yesterday trying to get out of it .. AND i strained my ankle😑 funny thing is yesterday was the first time i've decided that "oh i dont need my handles" 🤪 .. if they were there i would have gotten out of it easier 😅 Im gonna try ur technique now

Butterfly pose might be unpleasant at first in the groin and ankle areas, so at first really make sure your feet aline before lowering upside down, or perhaps in the beginning just get used to it without inversion :)
