Man the very last curl during the finisher just got me haha. I feel like my soul's left my body. Time for a protein shake and some coffee! Excellent workout; I really enjoy this series and Arnold the pup was a lovely surprise.

Love the appearance of Arnold! Do you have any videos with pull-ups or kettle bells?
@ChrisEdi Жыл бұрын
Haha, he loves being in the centre of attention 🤭 We don’t have any pull ups or kettlebell workouts yet. We love using dumbbells and ez bar+plates combo, however we are planning to use different equipments in the future 🔥🔥

Love this series. Had to cut it for a few days because I got sick 😫 Now I'm back in and ready to crush it 💪 Do you have any advice on how to include resistance bands? I don't have heavier weights but a huge set of different resistant bands. Will that do the same trick??
@ChrisEdi2 жыл бұрын
Hello Mia, welcome back and hope you are feeling much better 💪🙌 Here are some tips on how to use resistance bands instead of dumbbells: - resistance bands maintain constant tension on muscle groups throughout the entire movement of an exercise, so it`s definitely possible to follow our series with bands only. However, you might have to switch around some exercises. When many people think about building muscle, they traditionally think of only lifting heavy dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells. What many people don't know is that you can progressively overload with resistance bands as well. To practice progressive overload, you would simply choose a band that has more resistance as others begin to feel lighter over time. Choose heavier resistance band for lower body days, and for compound movements, and use lighter weights for more isolation exercises. Do you know where to place the bands on different exercises? If not let me know and I can send you an email on positioning.

Hi guys, I'm 3 days into this series and I'm loving it so far. In saying that, my calves are protesting very loudly!!! Just wanted to ask, what Dom you encourage or recommend for our "active recovery/rest day"? I walk a fair bit in any given day. I'll likely hit 19,000 steps today. Perhaps a stretch routine or some yoga?
@ChrisEdi2 жыл бұрын
Hello 🙌😎 Thank you for joining in! Great question. On active rest and recovery days we recommend walking, swimming, cycling etc. Also stretching and yoga is excellent. Good job on hitting 19K steps. Walking is one of the most underrated exercise form and it should be in everyone's workout routine. Here is a great full body stretching routine with Edi, perfect for recovery days: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWLKaK19rJqpn7c
