I use this kit at work. Well by this kit I mean the impact driver. I have 3 of those sons of bitches. Great throw around drivers. The rest of the tools in this kit are pretty much useless. My kits all came with drill and impact for like $30-40 I think. The drills are essentially just electric screwdrivers. The impact gets er done though

I got this kit for $10 on clearance some month's ago. For $2.50 per tool, it was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made in my entire life. I love the light and the Recip saw has been great for pruning trees/cutting down small bushes around the house I recently bought. I tend to gravitate to my Ridgid drill before grabbing this one, however there are several scenarios where have two drills have been great. Especially when I am pre drilling holes prior to screws. Instead of switching bits, I just grab the other drill.

I've several HT 20v's. A pole chain saw, reciprocating saw, 3/8" drill and 6 1/2 circular saw. got all with batteries included and clearanced during Covid. Pole saw $50.00, drill $20, Circ. Saw $30 and sawzall about $30.00 I guess. Found several 2mah batteries clearanced in garden center for $13 each and dual port rapid charger for $15. I've been super pleased with each, very surprised and pleased that the tools basically paid for themselves both in time and being freed of cord frustration. The little chargers that come with the tools do take forever but the dual rapid charger gets them up in 40 minutes max. Always looking for a good steal, these were. Surprisingly k Lidl"s Parkside 20 volt 4ma impact drill, 12 volt light duty hedge trimmer and single hand recip. pruning saws have lasted several years assisting me in minor aspects of landscaping jobs. Good video.

My experience with battery life..light will last 3 to 5 hours, impact with heavy use maybe 3 hours, rep saw lasted about 3 hours with continued use, and the drill about 4 hours with 1/4 inch plate. Batteries took about 8 hours to charge. I have had these tools for about 6 months and they've don't just about everything I've asked them to do. I loved the video!! I have that kit and the circular saw. The drill isn’t bad. Just think of it more as a 12v drill. It’s low speed and light. So it’s great for delicate work. I use it mainly to put light switch covers on. Not a fan of the impact. It’s ok. The recip saw is good. The light is a nice feature. The flashlight is interesting. It has the adjustable beam. I was wondering if kobalt has that. The circular saw is junk. Not worth the money. It’s way too under powered. Good for 2x4s and sheet goods. It won’t cut a 2x8. The saw gets bogged down and stalls a lot. The batteries are small. The biggest they make is a 2.5 ah. Which is a nice battery. It has a usb outlet in it and a fuel gauge. You also need a fast charger. The regular one that comes with it can take up to 4 hours to charge the batteries. The fast one will do it in about an hour from dead. I also like how cheap the kit is. It’s nice to be able to throw it in a truck and not worry about it. And you still have the tools if needed. That whole kit costs about the same as a Ryobi 1.5 ah battery from Home Depot. Which is kinda crazy.

I bought a hyper tough 20v cordless drill and a hyper tough cordless sawzall, just as cheap, disposable tools that I'm not afraid too beat up... well... they still haven't been disposed of because they won't die lol

Everyone thinks China is years behind us. If they can make a kit like this for 40 bucks, they are leaps ahead in every way.
@kobelcofan4 жыл бұрын
Everyone who complains about China are the ones who wanted low prices in the first place. They have no reason to complain.
@kfessler14 жыл бұрын
China made it for a lot less than $40. $40 is the selling price, so I'm guessing China made it for $20 or less.
@ManCaverTools4 жыл бұрын
had to buy these tools for that price
@kfessler14 жыл бұрын
Don't blame you. For that price, how could you possibly go wrong.
@loktom40684 жыл бұрын
Buy made in USA. But you have to wait to save $. While your neighbors & others don't complaint are using them ( made in China) already.

Are these brushed or brush-less motors big difference between the two in over torque and work time and battery draw.

They aren't that bad of tools. we will do a test to see how long the batteries last with doing something

Looks like a nice set of tools for the price and getting two batts is really nice. One fricken battery might cost as much as the whole set if you are trying to get a replacement. A friend of mine bought an expensive Dewalt drill driver and both batteries were dead on arrival. I mean dead as in not chargable.

I looked at these back at Christmas for my brother in law so he'd have something of his own while i helped him on a project. Too light in my opinion for construction, so i spent a few bucks more for ryobi drill & driver combo. Would pick this up for my mom or daughter to have something to hang floating shelves or install hooks. So DIY assembly/crafting, but not DIY building/construction

they are good for smaller tasks. it all really depends on what you want to do. but I love the single handed recip saws
