She hated it, hated her horn that was slowly but steadily corroding her personality. At the moment her horn was cut off, as she was watching it fly away, through shock and pain, she noticed there was silence in her head for the first time. The voice that mocked and nagged her whole life, was gone. "Was it that easy?" - she thought as her consciousness faded - "Finally, it broke off!"
