I'm glad you did this... we used to go and loved it but it got popular and then people would have to wait for crab and lobster. You would be in line for 20 minutes and persons one and two would take the whole amount that was just brought out, then you wait 20 minutes more to move up two or three spots when the next bunch is brought out... sometimes you would spend your entire meal time there. The long waits between them bringing it out was how they controlled amounts but it was torture. Seeing now they are handing it out so all can have some makes it worth paying for it. We'll try them again.

The Feast Buffet was a horrible experience for my family and I. We went there for my brother’s graduation dinner from the academy and it was just not a good choice. 15 mins in one of the two servers that were in our seating area came around and started accusing my family and I of not paying. Mind you, you cannot enter the buffet or be seated unless you pay first and are given a receipt. Knowing this the server continues to badger and interrupt us during dinner and time with our family. It didn’t stop until we got the manager involved, who might I add was also the one who handled my families payment when we got there. Would definitely not recommend this place. The Harvest Buffet on the other hand is fantastic and we’ve eaten there several times. Customer service is great and we’ve never had any issues whatsoever.

I was in BC just about a month ago to catch an Alaska cruise with Holland America (drove up from Oregon). I so wish I'd have known about Harvest when I was up there! By the way, cruise ship buffets can be outstanding also, but it doesn't really matter since any restaurants on board will allow you to eat as much as you can stuff yourself with. They will literally hand you plate after plate (even in the specialty dining restaurants) and you aren't charged any extra.

I live right next to the Feast and I can tell you that parking, while it is large, can still be difficult to get a spot. Some would end up parking at the Reserve apartment to the left or Fred Myers on the right. Historically, The Feast name is probably associated with Hongmen Banquet (Feast at Hongmen Gate) 206BC during Han Dynasty. A 2011 Chinese film Hong Men Yan (White Vengeance) by Daniel Lee, depicts this event in the film.

My family loves the Feast Buffet! I load up on Crab and Sashimi lol. A little travel advice going to Renton from Vancouver BC during the weekend, you could avoid the traffic on I-5 in Seattle and cut through I-405 south (going towards Bellevue) Renton is just south of there. Look for the exit when you approach the Lynnwood area. I believe its also may be shorter distance drive too coming from the North than to continue on I-5. 405 does get bad traffic on weekdays though but I-5 always has traffic even on the weekend.
