@BudoReflex5 ай бұрын
Really, shivering the entire song. He absolutely wrote and performed one of the very best songs ever, right there. The odd timing, beautiful key bending melody, the immaculate playing, unparalleled singing, not to mention the perfect delivery and pitch. I really can’t rave enough about what I just saw. It’s one thing to create a studio version of a song, but to do that? There really are very few who have done what he did in this performance.

I couldn't have said it better myself. That was a truely special delivery of a special song. He is doing something in here that exists outside of the patterns we normally hear in music and its spectacular.

There’s the commercial side of this band, and a lot of people know them for that. Overplayed on the radio to death and many people hate them for that. But when you take the time to listen to the lyrics, most of which were written when Dan was under 25, it’s absolutely astounding how insightful and connected he was as a musician and a person.

I never thought Daniel also impressed me by playing piano and I really love this song so much and that one Asylum. He really inspires someone I know struggling so hard these days just learning the basic of piano playing just to be able to play her favorite piano pieces not necessarily Silverchair songs . Her strong desire and believing her self that she really can do it just started by being so impressed and inspired by Daniel's great performances. First his cover of Smells like teen spirit. Second After all these years then Asylum. Daniel never knew how comforting and healing their music is to me and I'm always thankful for that. May his mental illness and some other health issues be healed too.🙏 Always with ♥️ from the Philippines.👍✌️🤘😉
