i feel as if the older civics pull harder although they’re lower hp because of weight.. these new civics all 200 but heavy sedans do you agree??

Because of the turbo they are faster stock for stock as far as fully built engines the new engines haven’t been messed with enough to compare to the older engines

@@tekomar yea.. all they have to do is turn up the boost. when k20 came out 2006-2010 with rsx type s and the 4 door civic si, they pulled hard for stock. i felt like i was in a built b series when it was only stock. of course a built b would kill the k but now that we have everything figured out with k20/k24 they aren't much of a match. also these new engines k20c1 that i don't know much about also won awards so you're right

@@mesaakk123 Axles need to be custom and you can't run the si Ecu with that engine. Crank and cam pic ups are different.

The 10AT won't handle as much power and would be significantly harder to install in a car that came manual to begin with.

Keeping the manual probably makes the swap a lot less complicated as well since the si never came with a auto tranny.

@@4CDMA theres no accord 2.0 AT In the 10s at the 1/4 mile. when you find the limit of that 10AT trans it won't be as easy as oh lets drop a higher torque rating clutch, a ppg gear set and lets see where we can go.
