Hi!’ I’ve been doing this workout three times a week now and it’s really been helping me stay toned since my Pilates class membership expired haha. I wanna say I really appreciate your style of exercising with pilates. I feel like I’m back in my class but with a refreshing new twist (and cheat times to pause haha) my favorite pilates move typically is a squats but like on your knees I guess and with weights? I also love your mobility lunges to the side since I really need more improvement in that area but your style is very beginner and slow+controlled. So Ty for that!! Keep doing what ur doing 🤍🎀

so i’ve been coming back to this workout for a month now, and it is so awesome to not only feel my body getting stronger, but it’s so crazy to me that i would go to the gym and squat an absurd amount of weights, do all this crazy lifting and see almost no results, but this i actually struggle hard core and have seen results just within a month. It’s not just abs and booty but man the arm strength it takes too!!! Love it! Thank you so much for this! Also, i’ve noticed on the all four booty section, i have trouble keeping my structure tight and my hips aligned. I’m assuming that eventually gets stronger with time? you make it look so flawless and i’m over here sweating and struggling after just a few leg lifts lol!

Thank you for joining me. It can take some time to build the deep core strength and/ core awareness required to maintain pelvic stabilisation. So in time it gets easier! You just reduce the range of the moving limb (in this case leg) for now to be able to hold neutral spine and pelvis. I would suggest doing some some pelvic curls to learn lumbopelvic disassociation (the ability to keep spine still but just move pelvis). You can do this on your back or in a four point kneel. Hope this helps! I have a beginner 5 days series if you need it saved in a playlist x

Enjoyed this workout. I was able to do level three with the side lunges and last exercise up to level three. Adding a push up would have been too much. My balance was better than I expected.

I really love your workouts; I feel it's really good for me, but this time my wrists hurt a bit, but your after workout wrist stretches helped. I think I favored the glute workouts, as that its where my fat. resides the moist, but I shall...accept myself!

TL;DR an amazing **intermediate** - not beginner - workout. It was such a good combination of core strength and overall conditioning, and I found myself really having to focus to maintain good form while we were progressing through movements quickly. I also really enjoyed the burpee burnout at the end and I thought the mods were still really effective if you don't want to put pressure on your joints that burpees usually entail. Also, the combination of floor and balance work really helps drive the muscle memory into my body. That said I'd definitely take "beginner" out of the title of this video. :) Even with the modifications the progression through multiple core movements with little rest gives the body time to recover and I feel especially for beginners they may overcompensate without other muscles (such as back-bending when squatting) which can lead to poor form and sustained injury if transferring those techniques over to more heavy lifting.

I get confused when you start a countdown. Is it repetitions or seconds or what? It often seems that it's neither and I find it a little frustrating. Nevertheless, I love how I feel after I've done a workout with you. 💟

Hello! Mostly I do countdowns and it’s not matched to the repetition because if the pacing etc. I’ll take note and make sure it’s clear going forward. Thank you for the comment and for working out with me :) Jacinta

Hi Julia, I will start with the basic layer then add on for those that want to progress. It’s an open level class so beg - adv. If you fancy some slower cues classes you’ll find the 5 day Pilates for beginners program which begins at foundation level and progressively we build on from there but still keeping the exercises beginner friendly. Hope that helps! Jacinta
