This is an all round Morning Vinyasa Flow yoga class designed to gently wake you up and build some warmth and suppleness in your whole body. Practice begins on your back with some fluid hip openers, progressing to cat/cow and then class moves steadily through lunges, standing flow and simple balances to build focus and warm the lower half of your body. Class concludes with boat, twists and hamstring openers to balance out. Enjoy a guided shavasana at the end of your practice. Namaste, Fi

Good morning Fiona! Thank you for sharing this creative class! We enjoyed the hip opening circles in the beginning. We love that your classes are never predictable in following a certain series of movements but always have an unexpected, interesting variations to classic poses yet still flows logically. Heartfelt thanks for this lesson, again, a gem in how to the point it is; now, today, closing Mula Bandga felt to make real sense, the pull this exerts tilting the pelvis forward feels very strong indeed - in one of those apreadlegged forward bends I had to catch myself on my hands not to topple over, as it was in twisting motions, if I #slowlearner realise where exactly the motion is in my structure, closing that Bandha allows mearly a handwidth more depth. Astonishing, it feels wondrous! ❤️🙏🏻

Loved the flow and the music. I added maybe 15 sun salutations during the down dogs 😄 but I do like to flow so I modified. This class was so relaxing, I just had to tune out the banging door and thumping sounds. The dog was fine 😅

Another quality class, Fiona. Thank you. Are your regular classes of a similar nature? I’d so love to be on your doorstep so I could attend alive class! My old studio in Cheltenham has had to move premises - I think the lockdown finally bit. I’ve located a promising looking studio in Aberteifi and there’s also yoga at an eco glamping site nearby. Right up your street, I’d imagine, as they offer kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and wild swimming! BW, Jon

Thanks Jon! My husband says my online classes are a bit flat compared with my live ones!! And I say it’s challenging to be full of personality when I’m recording them in a small dark room! A live class always feels so different. There’s an energy to the room. Just breathing and moving together creates a union and togetherness... community. Usually, if a live class has a great vibe, I record it for KZbin. I can understand Re your studio.. despite having a big devoted community pre COVID, it’s taken 6 months of being open to build back up. But I have minimal overheads so have just kept on. KZbin has helped a lot. Just back from Tasmania. Was incredible riding. Lots of downhill fast through the berms and ferns. No injuries :-) so I’m back into it today planning my next class for you guys. When travel opens up... come and visit!! I’ll be teaching into my 80s!! Love it.

Pleased that Tasmania worked out. Re your husband’s comments - I want an understated personality to lead me through the sequences. You’re perfect for KZbin, but I’m sure your live classes are even better. I know that if I was in your yoga community you’d be my go-to yoga teacher. In Cheltenham I had Ian Davis and Alex Belcourt to guide and teach me. It was being taught by Ian that inspired me to become a teacher under his tutelage! I also remember him saying that being a yoga teacher, it should never be about you. BW, Jon

Yet another great class Fiona. Perfect amount of flow and hold. I know back bends don't suit your body so well but any chance of a class with a few as I find them super invigorating? I can always go back to that class when I feel like going backwards to go forward. Also the tutorials are fantastic. Sorry to hear Vic is back in lockdown mode. Namaste

Dear Fiona! I have done yoga exercises using your videos and enjoyed them. You are a great yoga instructor and a good educator. I have enjoyed your yoga classes and have subscribed to your channel. However, this particular clip became very disturbing when very loud music was played. I have nothing against the fact that a suitable background music is played, BUT why does the music need to be so loud that you do not hear what you are saying properly? I like to train with you but not with that clip!

Dear Shahla, thank you for your lovely feedback and support! I absolutely agree about the music. In the last 6 months, I have omitted the music from my videos. It’s not possible for me to edit this particular video now but moving forward... my audio will be crystal clear! 🙏 fi

Thanks Shahla x not at all. I love practicing to music but it’s hard to find free tunes on KZbin that suit and in this case I was still working on my editing skills... I can see the music volume was distracting x take there there in Sweden! Appreciate your support 🙏

I really enjoyed this flow!!! I just find the MUSIC too repetitive. the instructor is great, tho.

Thank you Ana. I agree. About a year and a half ago I started omitting the music. It’s quite polarising and hard to find appropriate royalty free tunes. There’s a playlist on my homepage called flows (no music) xx kzbin.info/aero/PLC8x2h-ribuI-Uve-K-pjhH1BuOnT9nsP 🙏 fi
