She was the perfect Christine: young, innocent, dumb but kind and honest, plus she had that breast-heaving side to her whenever she was being seduced by the Phantom. I didn't expect to like her music, but this song got stuck in my head and I still return to it sometimes. The studio verion is of course much better because in order to get that Imogen Heap / Frou Frou sound, you need more voices than one.

Rossum is the ideal Christine Daae, she explains why the phantom fell deeply in love with her: young, innocent, positive ,and pure beauty . Christine voice is not originally perfect but the phantom excels her singing to the point that she , herself fell in love with her own voice and has a deep feeling that she owe it to the phantom.
