❤❤ Fantastic video! ❤❤So full of love and cuteness! It's so sweet how Josie loves her mama so much that even already in her arms, she's still constantly reaching out with any available fingers/toes to touch or hold onto different parts of her. Mom looks so content. I was also impressed with how vigilant she was when the male came around making sure he wasn't going to get too close. She's just an amazing, incredibly caring orangutan all around. She's already tending to her little one but when another mom sits down beside her she starts grooming her. One of the best orang videos I've ever seen and I've watched hundreds if not more.

@@samsepoil2111 Orangutans have empathy and social cooperativeness similar to humans. They can perform abstract thinking and tool usage too but in more primitive ways that of humans. Yet they don't have greed. They just take enough for their food, water and shelter and don't destroy things senselessly just to feel more comfortable.

Das lässt sich nicht vergleichen und drückt eine Sehnsucht aus. Auch OrangUtans können z.B. aggressiv werden. Die Genetik ist bei uns Menschenaffen eine andere. Uns trennen zudem unterschiedliche Grade an Bewusstsein. Es gibt auch bei uns sehr liebevolle Menschen.

That it is i cry every time I see another baby taken away from its mother an group but what really gets me is when a mom died giving birth ... but thank God for the people who give their all to save these adorable animals an teach them to be a proper orangutans an release them back in the wild ..and the people who take care of them in sanctuaries that can never be released ... those are amazing people

Orangutan mums are the best. Not sure about the zoo environment but I know they raise and teach their young for 7to8 years in the tree tops. Momma in this video seems patient and very loving of the babe.

Indo .Squad what cage? They are out in exhibit,alive,content and well. In Sumatra they probably would be dead from the poachers and habitat destroyers. I have seen thousands of orangutans,these are very happy and well taken care of. Go be a nuisance elsewhere. Get educated. Get your facts. This baby would be a orphan and its parents dead most likely in Borneo or Sumatra. Lastly do you eat anything with palm oil? If you do your a reason why they aren't in thier natural habitat.

Orangutans eat things other than just fruit and leaves; this baby was probably chewing on what was leftover from an adult eating ants or termites from the bark, it could also have had some sap on it. It is a type of foraging not always seen in zoos.
