I like going to new places with you. It's always such an adventure. Thanks so much for all the traveling without moving! : )

I grew up in Adelaide, but it has been over 25 years since I left. In now showing my age, but does anyone remember the old Red Hen trains? When I get the chance I will sit down to try and time stamp some of scenery of what I remember. 2:47 the tower is an old signalling tower. 2:50 the stone building set back a bit on the left is the old Adelaide Gaol.

It's truly nostalgic. Inefficient but nostalgic. 😁

I’m not really big on speed, but this is a bit silly. You could ride an e-bike faster.

it's a late evening service, when trains are quite infrequent in Adelaide. Also, traffic there is rather directional: Most passengers already boarded the train at Adelaide station (the point of departure), from there the train will only get more empty. Since there are no rear mirrors, we don't see how many people were in there and how many alighted. And it might have been a Sunday or something when both services and passenger levels are even more scarce...

I am embarrassed to be Australian, even the slowest 3'6" gauge Japanese suburban rail, stopping at stations every 300 metres is much faster, this line is being upgraded to electric at the moment but I'm sure that whoever is responsible for the new upgrade has no real interest in providing a viable rail service.
