I have the same problem with my Hero 8 and have been rubber banding it to my gimbal or just using a grip which like you said I cant keep the horizon level. Anyways awesome view! @@CityWalks I owned the g6 too, it will not fit the GoPro8. I had to return it to Amazon. The bar and mount that holds it is too small. Alternatively, the m2 is very well made and feature rich. Even though it's not "splash proof" you'll be hard-pressed to find a better gimbal in this size range. I will add that the Amazon page claimed the g6 would work with the GoPro 8, when if fact it did not when it arrived. I even asked the seller before buying it, who went on to spread misinformation. The 7 and 8 bodies are not the same size, so unless it's now coming with two different mounts, it's still incompatible.

Lovely walk Henry. Be interesting to see what the countryside looks like in high Summer. The irrigation ditch is empty at the end of Winter? The walk back must have been tiring! Still pretty cold in Montana then 😀. I know that you talk as you walk, what do you use to record your voice - not the gopro, I presume. I want to start talking as I go, but my recordings are awful. Hi. Yes, this was taken back in April and the rivers and ditches are full now that the warmth is releasing the water from the melting snowpack in the mountains. I use a Zoom H4N with a lavalier mic and wind cover. It's an old one that I had lying around. It makes a huge difference. Many others use the H1 or H2. I do a "clap slate" at the beginning so I can synch the waveform peak in the audio up in my editor.. -H
