I’m 87. I was raised in Orange, but my aunt and uncle, and four cousins, lived in Old Greenwich. We loved the red dogwoods in the spring. And then, my wife and I bought a condo there in 1984, when I joined the church.

It is my dream to drive to Greenwich CT from my hometown of Cleveland OH. Spend a week driving through the beautiful streets, finding mansion tours, shopping and meeting little old rich ladies who express an interest in why I'm there. Staying at different cute little hotels including two nights at the Homestead Inn in Belle Haven. Taking pictures, visiting the beaches and parks, maybe even spot a celebrity or two. I am obsessed with the old world charm in the historic homes both quaint and grand. I'm an artist and have been drawing a map of the city on a huge piece of paper with the help of Google maps. I'm hoping someone in Greenwich will be interested in it. I'm wondering if I can contact their historical society. Hmmm. Anyway, thank you for this video...it was the next best thing! Let's keep our fingers crossed that I make the trip next Spring 😉
