On this particular day, time of day, flight, yes. However, the weather and conditions may vary on your flight so I can't guarantee it'll be 100-percent smooth. Generally, morning flights are smoother than afternoon flights as morning time has less storms and rough air. I hope this helps!

As far as I know, Delta and LATAM do codeshare with one another, so, theoretically, you could connect between both airlines at their respective hubs!

Hello, I apologize for the late response. I have been quite busy with work and travel. Spirit Airlines is not a bad Airline. As with all airlines, Spirit has their quirks and not so fun parts. As I'm sure you're aware, spirit is a No-Frills Airline meaning you have to pay for everything if you want to comfortable flight. Because, if you get just the bare minimum, ie. Just the ticket, it can be a rather uncomfortable and unlikable experience. Me personally, I have not experienced or been directly affected by any Spirit Airlines cancellations or delays other than once. However, I have heard of that happening. Not necessarily more than other airlines, but they're in the news a lot more because people on social media tend to blast them more than other airlines. I've only experienced Spirit three times, only one going to plan. The first time, there was a gear malfunction and they had to divert and then the second time was perfectly fine and the third time they outright canceled the flight. I did end up getting reimbursed for the canceled flight but it really messed up one of my trips. So, in conclusion, if spirit is a convenient and price friendly option there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking them. While you might experience delays, you will on other airlines too.
