I always felt so bad for what happened to Shariff Floyd. He worked his ass off his entire career, finally got that big break, only to have it all taken away from him. That Malpractice suite killed his entire career😔
@weakestlink204 жыл бұрын
He’s probably not going to see any money from it either. Dr James Andrews is the top MLB surgeon in the world. If you have a torn UCL and need Tommy John Surgery, you talk to Andrews. Simple as that. Andrews is so big in that field that his name sends a chill down fans’ spines whenever a player gets a second opinion from him, because everyone knows that the types of surgeries he performs often can take players out for a huge chunk of their season, if not a year, and sometimes more than a year. (This is not a jab at Andrews, it’s just the nature of these surgeries and the time needed to rehab from them) He’s done tons of surgeries to hundreds of athletes, if not thousands, spanning over more than 3 decades. The dude’s been performing surgeries on high profile athletes since the mid-80s, if not earlier than that.
@NellDAce4 жыл бұрын
weakestlink20 if that’s the case, then he will see the Money. It’ll just be handled outside of Court in order for the Doc to NOT be seen in a Negative Light. Settlement as long as the 2 sides agree on an amount then it should be an EZ Day. ESP if he his as Highly Sought After as you claim, still a Sad Story to say the least!!! P.S. NO DOCTOR wants to go to Court for Malpractice. That will put their Medical License at RISK! That’s why Doctors Pay for Insurance, & MOST High Profile cases such as this USUALLY gets settled outside of Court!

It's a shame that his injury killed his career. I'm not sure he would have made that much in future contracts (180 Million). Maybe half that. Probably over 100 Million.

@8balln8 killingu65 Hey, I'm sure he would have liked to been drafted higher but Minnesota isn't that bad (it's not the Jets, the Browns, Raiders, Bengals, some of the teams with higher draft picks that year). It's a shame he wasn't playing in 2017 where they had a great season but lost to the Eagles a step away from the Super Bowl.

As a 49ers fan, and long time Madden player, Lattimore has a special place in my heart. He was an 83ovr rookie in Madden 25 under the assumption he would get healthy. It breaks my heart seeing great potential cut short due to injury. I was by no means on these dudes level in high school but I can sympathize. I loved playing football, highlight of my time in school. Sophomore year I suffered a shoulder injury which resulted in 4 surgeries over a 4 year period. I tried to play after my 1st surgery but I could never overcome that feeling of being "broken" and lost all desire to play after struggling during practices. I quit the team, went into a dark spiral, switched schools and still haven't talked to some of the guys I grew up playing ball with. I can't imagine the mental toll that comes with suffering an injury while playing at the next level, and I hope those guys who got their careers cut short are living their best lives 🤙

@patrickmcdaniel20484 жыл бұрын
@@natepantano1055 oh. Typically when we cooked for entire teams we would do something like hamburger steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, and a salad. Some coaches want to give their guys a balanced meal, while others, back when I did buffets, would let them go ham on the food bar. Probably the most interesting meal I did was for The Undertaker from WWE. He came in two different times and had a 16 oz ribeye AND the buffet. He ate the buffet while the steak was cooking, then ate the whole steak in like 3 bites and was gone. One other time we had the Auburn Tigers football team come in. Not the whole team, but a lot of them, and they DRAAANK some alcohol... like a lot. They had a blast, but they also had an 11 o'clock game the next day against a very good Ole Miss team, and they got destroyed. That was Tuberville's last year at AU. Other notables I've cooked for: Vanderbilt Football, former Memphis Tigers coaches Josh Pastner and Tommy West, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, Tony Allen, Tim Tebow, Shepherd Smith, George Brett, Clint Walker, Kirk Herbstreit, Matt Hardy, Chris Masters, Thomas Mikal Ford
