For machinists we never had problem with the first box, it was the second box that was deadly because vents would be activated at the same time the mech was doing his mechanic with the box. What we ended up doing was moving to the middle after speaker pushed the box and we all saved blinks and roar to find the save vent and move the second before the mech puts in the box into the middle.

Ya overlap is very annoying, as tank even if I pull boss right into the middle lazy rdps usually keep sitting on the previous vent then end up dying. They should rework that a bit imo. It's very rng too.

@@serge2cool It seems more like a bug than an intended tricky overlap. The box and the vents sometimes spawn at the exact same time, making it impossible to survive unless you have an immunity or extremely strong defensive that allows you to either eat the box hit or the vents while moving to the correct place. Sometimes the box even spawn BEFORE the vents. You can have everybody stacked in the middle, on high alert with your fingers on your movement speed boost keybinds, and still just die with no real way to avoid it. Ranking Stonevault at the same difficulty level as SoB, and easier than NW just seems bizarre until this bug gets fixed.

What trash not to pull in certain dungeons like the “NEVER PULL!” Trash. How some % in certain dungeons like NW are definitely overtuned in trash % cause outside the 3 gate keepers and one trash pack before the bone monstrosity you need everything else. As well as the bug with how the dungeon buffs do work for instance I could not do the vine door in Mist or second lateen after second boss in there even though I have 100 in Herbalism and just over 25 in shadowlands herbalism but still can’t do ethier even though they have it listed as such. Same for Stone vault where we had multiple dwarves and one being a blacksmith but was not able to use the buff in there while doing the M+ versions.

Thanks for the showcase alone, some of us haven't even done these bosses where things actually hurt, so even just seeing them and having the mechanics explained like this is tremendously helpful. Tip for Machinists, there is actually a safe spot even on the active sides of the exhaust vents. It is very slim, but it's doable, it's just right to the side of where the Outer Fire/ Flame visual from the exhaust vent shoots up.(@13:16 of this video, example would be to the right of your pencil drawing right next to the yellow line.) Just make sure ya stand far enough deep into the little crevice so ya don't get clapped by the box coming in at some point. 1st boss Ara-Kara: To save space, everyone should stack on the Tank as there is no frontal that can hit the party on this boss fight. Stacking on tank makes it easier to move as a group in a coordinated manner, just follow the tank. My group do it this way and we just line the outer edge with the gossamer onslaught web drops, no issues whatsoever with space that way, clean and tidy. :) If ya play with a mixed melee /ranged comp then let the adds come close and use cc while burning down the adds with AoE so you can cleave boss and not loose uptime. They adds will all end up stacked if you move as a unit stacked on tank, then when the adds get close enough but not too close, AoE CC them and burst them. Sounds easier than it might be in a pug i know. But i'm spoiled with a premade XD

I'm getting tired of gigantic DoTs that also effectively punish you for dispelling them. The last boss of Arakara is a shitshow for melee and dispelling them in a timely manner is GOING to cleave someone with the one shot wave. Any more than like 2 melee on that fight is miserable and Blizzard really didn't think the fight out (idk why the tank gets marked when tanks usually get excluded from these).

Great vid and thanks for the run-throughs. But I'd like to see more bosses please. -I'd argue that Skarmorak is harder than the Master Mechanics. If players kill the shards in quick succession, we blow up. Who gets the orbs (and when)? Should the healer take 1 or 2? - The tuning on the 3rd boss of Necrotic Wake seems out of whack with the other bosses. Plus it seems a bit buggy where the hook sometimes hooks on a puddle on the ground? - Last boss on Grim Batol. Purple tentacles on purple swirlies, having to stack for shadow gale but also spread inside it. - Last boss in Ara Kara.

It really isn't that bad, during the first hook you have BL/Spears/All Defensives and the creation should die before tick damage gets out of hand. Even on a 10 tyrannical it was manageable. You can easily 2 phase it. If you wipe in a high on key on the boss, sure you probably won't time the key, but wiping on any boss in a high key is a pretty good liklihood of not timing the key, but you can easily kill the boss w/o BL or spears by cleaving off the add onto stichflesh and doing 3-4 phases, ensuring that the creation dies quickly and the dot never gets out of hand.

Because back then you could just throw three spears followed by some hammers into the boss and do some ridiculous damage. Now you just get to 60% damage increase for 20 seconds and kinda hope that it's enough to kill him.

on the machinist boss the 2nd or 3rd box pull by dorito has some HORRIFIC vents timing where brokk does the vents as the box is being pulled so you can’t even pre-move… I don’t know if this is consistent but it happened on many of our pulls and it was absolutely fking horrible, idk if there is a way to avoid this?

3rd boss in nw is relatively easy just land the hooks on the main boss and blow your cool downs on him take hooks to the boss while he's off the stage and try to only have one add up at a time.

The only issue I have with this season bosses is unavoidable party damage. Even tho personally, I do not have issue with this since I play enha shaman and therefore I have zillion dmg reduction cds (and reincarnation in the worst scenario), failing m 7-10 all over again just because the healer or other dps were overwhelmed by dmg taken from things such as NW 3rd boss aoe, SV twin boss, CoT 3rd boss and so on makes me very demotivated and sad because that's not the boss mechainc fail was the reason we did not succeed..

Because they redesigned the dungeon to work without being tied to the kyrian faction so they gave us extra weapons…they also changed/buffed how the shield weapon works….it went from trash to pretty OP….but nobody ever bothers picking it up or doing the coordination required for it….but yes I do agree with you for regular pugs that don’t understand the weapons and also how every other hook should go to the boss stage to instantly grip the boss down…it’s a bit too much dmg.

@@amethonys2798 there is a shield right at the door and another around half way through the dg (before the 2nd boss)…2nd boss doesn’t need any weapons at all…just plain kicks/stuns on the mages and aoe everything down…boss dies easy….orbs should be used (if your tank is solid enough) on double/triple packs of trash of the 3rd boss room because if you miss kicks on that trash (collectors) pack it likely results in a wipe depending on key level. In terms of where to use your shields that depends on your tank/healer. Wherever the healer will struggle (likely 3rd boss) use it. And if there is a trash pack that the tank/group struggles then use it. Personally I almost exclusively use items on the 3rd boss/trash room because that’s the point where your key will die since it requires coordination and pugs aren’t the best when put in those scenarios (blacksmith boss in stone vault)…on the flip side…if you wipe after using lust and weapons on the 3rd boss…your screwed as well.

The third boss on stonevault tyrannical absolutely bricked our key, the amount of damage coming in and the ability overlaps are absolutely brutal. I feel like problem is very low difficulty of Heroic and even M0. You never learn mechanics because fights last like 5 seconds, but suddenly the fights last 2-3 minutes while everything instakills you.
