I really like your fitness and Tai Chi stuff, but your titles about street fighting are totally misleading. Since you refuse to spar with other martial artists in an mma style of match, you have absolutely no valid experience of any street fighting. Some of the techniques shown in this video are simply useless, like slapping the skull.... Please get some real experience in real brawls... As long as your experience is nothing more than kata of randori or whatever you call partner training under safe and unrealistic conditions, do not claim to supply valid street fighting techniques... And this is in no way meant to attack or insult you personally, I tried to be as objective as possible..

This video saved my life. Yesterday an attacker ran up to me and grabbed my wrist, then stood still and did nothing and didn't resist anything for the 30 seconds I needed in order to execute 15 consecutive strikes, putting him on his ass. Thanks Jake Mace, there's no way I could have survived such a brutal attack without your tutorage.

I’ve trained in Muay Thai for 7 years. Street fights are fast, unexpected, brutal and unforgiving. These will get people hurt. Do not please do not think these will protect you in a altercation. The best form of self defence is learning how to smash someone the fuck up. This ain’t it chief.

All this shit and yet someone with only 1-2 years of boxing/kickboxing or mma training would beat a life time Kung fu practitioner/“master”. Chinese traditional martial arts is the biggest joke... just a big fake hoax like 90% of everything thing else coming from China. everything thing coming from/out of China is a big fat illusion and lie. The country/state is so keen on deeply imbedding brainwashing and propaganda on its people and anyone else they are capable of doing it to. It’s so crazy now when one thinks about it how they almost had the whole world fooled for a while in the 1960-90s with the “effectiveness” of the Chinese mystical martial arts in their Kungfu movies😂 And still till this day a big majority if not, most of China’s own citizens, even others around the world believe in it. And like i said before not only martial arts this applies to almost anything from products to politics etc. there is a reason you say made in China when you want to imply that something is not of a good quality/bad. Poor Chinese people I feel bad for them honestly having to adhere to all that craziness even in this day and age. But only the good ones are worth pitying. There is some real pieces of shit there to like the ones helping/supporting the oppression, torture and killing of its and their own country men the oyghurs a Muslim minority, people being treated like slaughterhouse pigs and even worse. Yet you see no one talk about it and shed light on their situation. Nor what Israel has been doing to the Palestinians since the 1950s right after they escaped the nazis they go and invade Palestine with the help of USA Just shows the disturbing hypocrisy and double standards of the West and our propaganda as well, how they till this day bring up what hitler did to the Jews although it happened such a long time ago, yet this is happening now as you read this. And barely a single word out of any big news channel or state heads leaders, famous figures etc.. even the east/ Middle East especially the Middle East! is disgusting for not helping their own. This whole world is a dark place really..

I myself am a kung fu practitioner and I can confidently say that this simple escape moves are helpful, and I talk from experience. I've been able to get away from man who have tried to throw themselves on me or just've tried to be aggressive with me because they know I practice a martial art; and what most people who don't know a thing about martial arts don't realize that a martial artist grows defensive instincts as well as learn how to read the attackers movements before they even execute them. ☺👏👏👏good job jake, I've followed your channel almost from the beginning and I found out you are my masters friend, Matt, and that gave me more reasons to keep following apart from the fact that your kung fu style is great. @@steventroy3923 Pressure points don't always work. They're just pain receptors. Not only is someone's adrenaline running in a fight so people ignore pain more, but some people are more resistant to pain. Or can have some issue with that area that makes it harder to feel. Etc etc. Sign up for an amateur MMA fight. Do the block, face strike, bicep strike, then grab and pull. Just one move. Get that off, post online, prove me wrong. (Why even strike the bicep, seems like a wasted move). Advising to grab hair, not always best move either. My number 1 on the clippers head...you won't be able to grab anything. Bald people? Someone with a wig? Someone just really tall and would be hard to grab up there. And so on. Moves that are VERY dependent on the other person, relies on certain conditions on them...not always the best.

I really need to learn how they are able to execute a time freeze before every 87 hit combo they perform. I like how the attacker does one move and then is hit with some form of un-see-able waves that freeze them in place and then the person who was getting attacked, fights back with possibly the least aggressive and least painful attacks and then runs off. I'll tell you a much better option, when they aggressively walk or run towards you, perform a simple 1,2 (Jab, Cross) combination, and run. Works every time.

Jake . . I trained in traditional Shotokan / Aikido / Ninpo tai-jutsu since I was 13, hustled 4 different p/t thru HS, rode my bicycle thru rain, sleet or snow to HS, home to prep dinners I NEVER got to eat, then off the the dojo, THEN work afterwards until 11 or midnight, thru rain, sleet or snow & got thru HS on 4-5 hours sleep per night. OK, summer was more hours worked & a bit more sleep, but I had to pay for class-tuition, uniforms, tests, weapons, food, dental, medical, contacts, guitar lessons, clothing and bike tires 3+x yearly. My HS prom night, I taught / assisted the tail-end of a 90 minute children's class (my warm up), did the 90 minute 6pm class, then rode off to 7-11 to work until 1am, turning down beer sales to my HS classmates. Long Island winter snowstorms were RARE: NOT to have a good 2-footer at least once, and I showed up for a 6pm adult class on my 10-speed during a 2-footer, ZERO adults showed in their cars & I got a "private lesson" with my sensei, then he took me out for dinner afterwards . . At 16 y/old. as a brown belt, I taught adult classes with several black belts as "students", when my sensei got caught up in traffic, picking up his classmates from the airport. So, I guess you can say, I've "been around the block", a few times. WHAT you did to this beginner VICTIM: June 14, 2017, (student is a real stretch, because UNLESS he is your brother-in-law & he'll be "back for more freebies", I'd be SHOCKED to see this guy return for more humiliation & exploitation from you), was NOTHING short of mocking his lack of stamina / fitness and self aggrandizing your innate athletic ability. Because: THAT is ALL you did, in this video. Which is KIND of like a sociopath. Gee, did you "set the stage" by suggesting he down a hefty breakfast, before you did a 40+ minute abdominal-crush routine on him?? Do YOU have any recollection of your first weeks or month of training?? Do you give ANY thought to a moderate warm-up, progressing into a feel-out-your-student's agility, before jumping into a stress test? I saw an EASY dozen opportunities for YOU to suggest / correct his breathing patterns, where YOU clearly exhaled during an exertion, then smirked & smiled as he held his breath during each kick, punch or torsional twist . . And that sociopathic SMIRK got even bigger, when he paused to hold down his vomit. And you showed complete INDIFFERENCE when he BEGAN to puke. Even a gay-boy-lover would hold his head while vomiting, after he'd mouth raped his throat. But YOU, Jake . . you made him VOMIT, then gloated & titled the video how "he wanted to fight . . I made him vomit". Class fucking act. You know what they say?? "Those that CAN fight, DO". I walked away from 3X 3-on-1 fights before I was 11, BEFORE I could start working to pay for Budo instruction, 6 nights weekly. "Those that CAN'T fight, teach" . . which is a REAL stretch in YOUR case, since IF you were a half-assed DECENT sifu, you'd have 1 or more successful schools, and a few hundred loyal students. But INSTEAD . . You flash your psychopath colors & post videos of how athletic you are, and crush any/all potential beginner-students, by monetizing their 1st day attempts. Master Ken's Private Parts offers BETTER instruction on YT, than you. I'd have wiped your snot off the mats, when I was 15 as a purple belt. Try speeding up your video feeds, it'll make you appear more . . adept. ;)

He tells really nice stories and what he does looks good. But in a real fight there isn't this one way to do everything. In reality you would get punched in the face/kidneys/liver. When someone tells you to learn a Kata to learn to fight they have not fought for real. On the Streets they don't care about honor/Style and you would not spin around BC you expose your spine/ kindneys to the enemy and I don't hope I have to explain why this is a bad idea. One punch also would knock something only out if you hit this perfect which is impossible under stress if you're not a pro. You, also not throw your opponent around like a Bag of Sand BC they would fight back. In General: If there is someone telling you these easy "Tricks" no matter how cool they look, they will almost never work.

Great techniques, but I don't agree with the "Win every street fight" stated in the title. I don't mean to offend, I'm a fan, but what's important to remember is that techniques are never fool proof. Different people/sizes , different reactions, different environment and terrain, different strength /endurance levels of you or opponents etc all affect combat. Through repetition and practice you condition your body, and being able to break up each technique and utilise each individual move (not in a fixed /definite sequence) will surely increase your chances of winning a street fight. This is why imo there's no such thing as a 1-3 day self defense class... It should be a lifetime of training, conditioning the mind /body for battle. Learning to block, do breakfalls, avoid attacks, how to attack, restrain, submit and survive cannot be learnt in a weekend, far less 1 video.

Annick Lootens well biggest tip, don't run. Dogs instinctually chase anything that runs from them, even small dogs. Probably best idea is to stand your ground and assert dominance. You know, make yourself look bigger, don't show fear, loud noises. Things that show aggression. If it attacks anyways, well you'll have to try to survive obviously. But running is a bad idea. Dogs are faster.

Jake is right guys. That spin move is not giving your back to your opponent. First that grab provides control over the opponent movement prior to the spin. Second the spin comes from the weak side of the opponent so he or she would have to spin all the way around to grab her.

People commenting on this video saying it couldn't possible work in real life have no clue about real fights. It's not that they wouldn't stand there and let the defender fight back, it's the fact that the moves happen so fast, they would have NO TIME to think about it. It doesn't actually happen at the speed demonstrated in the video, even when she's doing them semi quickly, it'd go down a lot quicker. This is for demonstrative purposes only. Think about it: the attacker has just attacked someone expecting an easy fight, then all of a sudden, they've got someone slamming them to the ground. What you don't expect can be a fatally stupid move. Martial artists come from background knowledge on the body, the technique, the practice, and experience. These would 100% work on someone not expecting it.

Dark Midna Exactly right dark… Also, you don’t always have to use every one of these moves in this order… In real life you may only use one of the moves in the sequence… This is why we practice so hard before the fight so that using one move is easy and natural in comparison!
