5 days.
5 days of suffering, 5 days of questioning life, 5 days of wishing you could get high again.
But 5 days is actually so much more in recovery.
I told this young lady that it takes longer to achieve 5 days sober than it will take 5 months or 5 years sober.
Getting sober is the easy part… staying sober is the hard part…
When you “have a few days” you don’t mind going back and using again. You feel like those days are not as bad to lose…. so you do.
You use again.
Whether it is your first day, your fifth year, or like this young lady, 5 days clean, the odds are stacked against you but I am in your corner.
With the right tools, you too can have 5 days turn into weeks, into months, into years.
Just get help today, not tomorrow or the next day, today 🙏🏻❤️

You got this! I remember what it was like kicking heroin over and over but you just gotta never give up and always fight away from it because eventually it will kill you or land you in jail. I’ve been 13 years sober from heroin and it does get a lot easier

I'm 28 years old and I'm 14 months, 23 days sober today from mainly alcohol but alot of drugs even heroin aswell. May 13th 2022, I stepped into my hopefully last detox and off I went to rehab in Sweden. At that point I was homeless, lost my job, lost my apartment, my family and my girlfriend and all my so called "friends". I had absolutely nothing after the addiction had taken over completely. I drank cheap vodka and whisky daily for years. Today, I have a fantastic life with a full time job, an apartment and my relationship is better then ever. Also, I have gotten rid of the majority of my old contacts, only surrounding me with people who genuinly care about me and wish me better in life. I was a hopeless case of addiction, if I can do it so can you. It gets better and better I promise you. Before I got sober, I started researching how to manage this huge task, and I got alot of help and support watching Novak turn his life around the way he did. I have never in my life been in deeper contact with my true self then I'm today, and it's a really cool feeling. Thanks Novak. Been watching you since I was a kid on MTV. You helped me so much during my critical time in rehab and when I checked out. 🙏🏼❤️

This dude is great. I was 10 when jackass and CKY came to light. I’ve seen negative comments on Novak’s recovery. I have no clue why the negativity. But I’ve seen a hell of a lot more positivity. I’m an alcoholic. I’m currently drunk as I write this. I yearn for help everyday. Yet I still make these choices. Is it to feel comfortable? Ease anxiety? Idk. But everyday I try ON MY OWN to get sober. You can never do it alone. I need a good program and motivation. It’s hard for sure. I’m always working on it, but this video made me want to reach out. I don’t want to drink anymore. I need help.

@felixe1349

@@aleczander3457I take it you know absolutely nothing about recovery little boy. How do we do it? We do it together, never alone. We follow the steps taken by people who has walked down the same path, been through the same amount of pain and struggle as we have. We stop following our own will, and listen to somebody else maybe for the first time of our life. That's how we sober up. So don't mock somebody for reaching out, just because you are insecure and don't know what you are talking about. /15 months sober person.

I love that you are doing this! I've been sober from alcohol 8 years and clean for 16 and counting. The way you engaged this woman was great, absolutely no judgment, just completely open to hearing her. Championing her 5 days just like you would someone with months or years. That is such a cool thing. The smile on her face says it all, "I'm gonna keep trying." Keep up all your amazing work. These videos help me even now. Brandon your real as shit!! I respect what you do so much. I was a drug addict for 25 yrs. Cps came into my life and saved me from a DV 10 yr relationship. I had a daughter with this man. My daughter will never think that kind of behavior is acceptable! I come from a strong family background thank god. Your story gives people so much inspiration because it's like looking in mirror. You own everything you've done and you wear it on your sleeve as a badge of honor. Much respect fron someone who walked in those same shoes❤

Awwww, I love you Brandon! I've lost someone recently to their habits. Broke my heart. This video is PURE BEAUTY and SOOOO INSPIRATIONAL fornines whom have broke free and to want to fo out and HELP OTHERS BREAK FREE!!! It's never too late to change.... and just like all progress, it takes time. Addicts and patience.... the waiting frustration will cause so many to slip and relapse. I wrote "the relapse is REAL" when I was writing in journals in a very dark time of use. I'd get free for a couple weeks and then a weekend would come off work and WHAM!!! party and you stock up and bam! 2 weeks later ur remembering from you can!! Alpraz n alcohol are a terrible mix. Then you see what you came to the conclusion of "these aren't good for me!... I need to delete the phone numbers I have!" And it's those small mental steps that start your feet un motion to.start making the physical steps. I have to say, I'm very proud of you and ur progress!! Once I learned of DREAMSELLER... I had to get it and then read it 3 times! So good and truthful and deep!! I've gone through all the motions so when you realize and can break them down! You can teach those whom are struggling and teach them about the mental slips and trips that you've experienced. Its si rad to seeing you doing so GREAT and then like all great people whom TRULY ACCEPTED RECOVERY AND LIVE IT!!!! Its pay it forward! To help the ones you see and come across fighting the same battles!! You cant slay the monster for them!!! But you can be there to help sharpen the sword they need to defeat the monster that lives in us all. Way to go Bran!!! This video truly made my day!! Mad my soul smile hearing these stories and seeing your support and wisdom SHINE like a star!!🌟🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘

I'm on a current I.M. fentanyl addiction due to chronic pain mixed with other issues like anxiety and depression. I remember when I didn't have access to this drug because I live in a small country I watched your videos but by then I was recovering from ketamine (due to my pain Im always looking for something to not feel my body) now I come here for more inspiration from you because I don't need the stronger things for my pain. I could stick to tramadol or kratom even though tramadol really sucks to me and that's why I went into a full opiate but it was a big mistake Ive been on fent daily for 3 months and the rebound anxiety of quitting is absolute hell. I want to quit everything and for the pain stick to kratom even though it is expensive here so that's why I went into pharmaceuticals and the most heavy, fentanyl.

5 days off of opiates you would still be in bed shitttiing yourself and throwing up with cold sweats and chills and fever. So I don't know what kind of drugs she was on but I don't think caffeine counts as a drug if that's what she was addicted to.

Could've been alcohol, meth, coke, crack, or even weed. I've done all those but yes opiates were by far felt the worst out of all of them. By day 5 after all of those i would've probably been fine but not opiates. It could've been opiates and maybe she's just a beginner so the withdrawals weren't extreme
