Are you tired of the traditional hiring process that values pedigree over true competency? It's time to shift the paradigm and focus on what really matters. Join me, Ginny Clarke, in this eye-opening video as we explore the power of competencies in your career.
In today's fast-paced world, relying solely on past experience or education is not enough. Competencies, the combination of skills, knowledge, and ability, are what truly determine your success. I'll guide you through the process of identifying your functional and leadership competencies and teach you how to assess them in others.
As a conscious leadership expert with two decades of experience in executive recruiting, I've witnessed the limitations of hiring based on credentials alone. It's time to break free from this outdated approach and embrace competency-based assessments.
Join me on this transformative journey and let's revolutionize the way we think about talent and leadership. Together, we can create a future where competence triumphs and true potential is realized. Don't wait any longer-empower yourself with competencies and unleash your career success.

Once again you didn't miss. Relationship got me a shot at a job that I couldn't keep because I didn't have the cute competencies actually mastered. Competencies first, then the rest follows.❤

I've worked in the non-profit world all my professional life. My roles have been in organizations that have proximity to alarming levels of trauma because of the vulnerable communities they serve. I have developed servant leadership style with a degree of assertiveness as a result because I appreciate see you, value you, and appreciate you, but we also have work to do. I've been looking to move into a more challenging space i.e. join a for profit company. I know I am a great people leader, but it's been such a struggle finding a way to showcase my competencies so recruiters will notice my resume. Developing a strategy for this has been had because I don't speak their language. I'm grateful I found your videos. The universe typically sends me where I need to be. I'm glad it sent me to your channel.

I am currently experiencing being under the leadership of a “I worked in this department 5 years ago” hire and it has been a STRUGGLE. The high level of incompetence, controlling and micromanagement from this individual has been stifling to say the least. However, this has caused me to update my skill sets to move forward in either another department in the company or to another company.

A great deal of what you speak about carries weight and is based in truth. I am listening, observing & learning. The videos are concise and informative. Thank you. Commenting from Trinidad, Caribbean.

In Healthcare we are so far from hiring on the base of competencies. Hiring is very much emotional. Staying is very clickish & bias.
