Sage advice young man. As the gray recording artist Neil Young said: There’s more to the picture than meets the eye…As they say in Texas cattle country you don’t want a big hat with no cattle.There are a lot of traps out there you don’t want to fall into. Develop some skills a large car payment can delay your retirement for years and take that money away from earning money instead of losing money on a car, you also have to figure gas, insurance, maintenance etc. As Bob Hope once said a bank is a place that will lend you money after you prove to don’t need it.

Thank you i appreciate it! I like that Texas saying I haven’t heard of that before lol! But you’re right the bank will lend you so much money it’s not even funny! I like to inform our youth and people that these cars is one thing but it’s not worth it going in debt for especially if your priorities not in place

Wise words sir. Social media is more or less a highlight reel and you don’t see what’s behind the scenes and what it takes you get there. Most important words my father told me was “work now, play later”. Grind, work hard, sacrifice and set yourself up for success earlier in life so that you can enjoy the later years. You touched on it in your video a bit, but I’ll also add to make sure you’re grateful for what you have! Its easy to get caught up in the problems or what you don’t have, but as you are doing, reflect on how far you’ve come and what you’ve accomplished and be grateful but keep going!

Thank you bro! I appreciate you watching the video but your father is exactly right! “Work now, play later”! A lot of people want to enjoy getting the Cars we got on extreme or unrealistic budgets! But like you said, make sure we’re grateful at the end of the day and that’s key!

Definitely felt this... To add to the learn a skill part, it can be beneficial to pivot a currently skill to your hobby and create a side hustle. If you are a welder, you might can pivot that to working on mufflers and exhaust and fabrication. If you are a computer coder, you can pivot that to tuning and debugging. Etc etc. And in addition, a good way to elevate yourself is to surround yourself with those better than you. Billionaires surround themselves with other billionaires, wolves with wolves, sheep with sheep, and so on

That’s a great perspective and a good way to put it, learn to make your skill set work for you

Love this! I am 45 years old and just got my degree in computer science/software development. Nervous as heck, maybe its imposter syndrome as they like to say. Just gotta keep studyin and find my path I guess!
@BLUPRINT1LE2 күн бұрын
Nice! Congratulations on the degree! Definitely a great degree for the future! Imposter syndrome is definitely a real thing when dealing with computers but the more you immerse yourself into it the more it starts to “click” and you have that “ah ha “ moment. You’ll find your path!

@BLUPRINT1LE appreciate ya! Yeah man, I remember feeling like that in the classes that finally got into the languages themselves. On e I understood something, like the logic behind it, I couldn't stop smiling!! Side question, did you go straight from stock to bolt ons with cam? I'm about to do intake, intake manifold headers and cat back to make the car more "fun", just can't seem to find any vids with those exact mods. Seems like everyone goes flex fuel, cam, etc
@BLUPRINT1LE2 күн бұрын
@ yes I went from stock to max effort with heads, cam, intake, flex fuel and all! Usually people do aftermarket intake manifold, throttle body, e85 headers and tune to get a nice gain without cracking the engine open

Yes Mr Blue Print you are correct in some ways. But as a man that in his 70s. You have a nice car but make sure your family is taken care of if something happens to you. Take out a good life insurance on you because if you die can your wife pay for that house mortgage and take care of the kids. 2 take out a good amount on your 401k for retirement. 3 dose your employment have a good medical insurance when you retire. Because when you retire medical insurance will take 1/4 of your retirement. 4 look down the road for your retirement and make sure you got money in the bank. Because retirement will come fast and the next time you look. Your going to say I am 65 . And last take care of your body and eat good nutrition food,not junk food.
