Any recommendations on getting flowers to stick to other clay cut outs? I’m new to polymer clay
@MyVian2 жыл бұрын
Hi Brooke, if you stick them together before baking, the baking will make them hold together :) use just little pressure so it sticks together, but be careful not to destroy the shape and it should work. Also you can try to place the flower using a toothpick or a needle :)

Hi Sabrina! We are almost always mixing the colours, so it’s impossible to tell the names :( at least we can tell that the brand of polymer clay is Fimo :)

Why are my flowers brittle? Is this normal?
@MyVian3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lucy, this happens if low quality clay is used, or the clay is not baked according to the instructions. We are using Fimo clay and bake 30minutes at 110 degrees as written on the package 💕

@@MyVian Thanks for replying. Im going to buy Fimo. Which one would you recommend? Soft or Professional?
@MyVian3 жыл бұрын
This depends really on your personal preference. Fimo professional is harder - it´s much better for creating tiny details. Fimo soft is softer, so the benefit is shorter conditioning time. But for example people with with warm hands or people living in warmer weather areas would not be able to create nice flowers from Fimo soft, because it would be too soft. So Fimo professional is going to work 100%, if you find it too hard to condition, then you can switch to Fimo soft. By the way, two also can be mixed together.
