Thank you so much for sharing all of your great knowledge with everyone! My husband was just diagnosed with high cholesterol and high blood sugar and we are super struggling to figure out what is okay for him to eat since everything seems to contradict each other. Also of course like you noted his doctor immediately tried to throw three to four different drugs at him which we do not want to do if at all possible! This is super helpful and I love all of your supplements that I have tried. We will definitely be ordering this combo!

When you say low crabs and sugar does that mean from fruits and vegetables or is it only the soda,cakes,cookies,bread, pasta ???
@DrLivingood14 күн бұрын
Hi there, when it comes to sugar, even natural sugars can be negative for your health goals. We recommend fruits and vegetables that are higher in carbs and sugars to be avoided until your health goals have been met, then having them in moderation after is fine! :) - LGD Team

Because our Support Team is not medically trained, and we want you to get the best answer to your question, I’d recommend asking this question on the ASK DLG Show. They are every Wednesday at 8:30 am EST. You can always ask health questions in the Challenge Crews! If you haven't joined the Lifestyle yet, you can check it out here! go.drlivingood.com/Lifestyle-Membership We always recommend if you have specific concerns with a pre-diagnosed condition and/or your medication that you consult with your physician. This also applies to changing the dosages of your medication and discontinuing usage. -LGD Team

I thought in a different video you said to take apple cider vinegar to help lower cholesterol. Is that true?

Apple Cider Vinegar is a powerhouse that can help support a healthy inflammatory response, support healthy weight management, cardiovascular support, and support blood sugar levels already within a normal range. Correct! You can still eat the actual avocadoes, but we would recommend switching from plant-based oils to butter or ghee. Just make sure it doesn't get heated up too much when using it! 🙂 - LGD Team

How do you get your doctor to check particle size? Is there a specific name for that test and should insurance cover it? My total cholesterol is 270, HDL 110, LDL 150 and Triglycerides 50. I am 57, on anastrozole for 2 months now, finished chemo for TNBC in January. My chlolesterol has been high for several years but went higher recently (side effect of anastrozole possibly). I am about 50 lbs overweight, trying to eat healthier in general.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't know what "particles' are. What are they and why are they significant? Also, do you find out what size they are by having a blood test? If you get a test, how do you know if you have good sized particles or not? Please excuse me if this sounds silly, but I've never heard of this. 😐
@GreatYachts5 ай бұрын
You h ave to ask the Dr for the blood test that shows the size of the particles in your blood. ie., Cardio IQ

Dr. Livingood, You have lots of good information. But I have one request - it's presented with such fast talking. That makes it very hard to keep up, or take notes. Please consider slowing down the talking. I know you're probably on a time limit, but if you can't finish, then how about a part 1 and part 2.

I have a question for the doctor about cholesterol. 🍈 It seems to me that no matter how you lower cholesterol whether it is diet, supplements, statins etc that unfortunately down comes your testosterone too. What man wants that? Now you are exposing yourself to fragility, osteoporosis etc.🍅 It seems you can't win. The world is on statins and as we all know statins anihilate testosterone.🍊 A healthy heart but at what cost.
