summary of the video: 1. block out sundays in your schedule (it’s completely free, and it’s not planned out at all) 2. find the perfect study time (for Mariana, this was waking up earlier.) 3. meal prep and cooking meals (home-cooked and healthy foods) 4. delete Facebook (this can also go for other social media, in order to free up time) 5. become more minimalist (don’t give in to the temptations that you see on social media) these are really helpful for self-improvement. Thanks Mariana!

As for me since I have no difficulties with studying and always get the best grades my parents don’t care at all and are annoyed by it. On the other hand, my brother who doesn’t have good grades and is into sports is always pressured to study by my parents.

I m so addicted to your videos. I bought a 5 subject notebook and started preparing notes neatly. Since it has distinction between subjects, My mindset of not carrying too many books and keeping distinction and order between subjects works great. I really love making notes these days. ❣️ Thnkz dr

a while back i watched this video and applied what i could to my life as high schooler. i’ve seen a significant improvement in my grades and overall happiness and willingness to pursue life rather than end it. i really can’t believe how these simple things like working out, getting up early, bring neat and simple has improved me. thank you🧡

Thank you!! I usually wake up late on Saturday and have been not want to study on Sat for a long time. Your video encourages me to block Saturday from my Schedule. Thinking of studying and feeling guilty of not studying on Saturday keep me from blocking Saturday, but now I want to try. Thank you, Mariana!

I love the blocking out Sundays idea! On my study calendar I already push due dates before their actual date so I make better use of my time, but blocking out the entire day is going to make Sunday a lot more peaceful for me ^_^ 💕 Can I also just say thank you for going straight into the video instead of having a five-minute intro like other youtubers do hahaha!

If deleting Facebook or any other social media is too complicated (if you need it for work or study for example), I suggest deleting the app on your phone. The temptation is stronger when you have the app than when you have to open Google, login, etc. I did it a few months ago for a personnal challenge and I think I'll do it again permanently. Great video by the way, thank you!

Thank you so much for this! I also suffer from my weekends being too hectic and I'll be trying to reverse that from now on. I can relate to the problems mentioned here a lot and one thing that helped me a lot was deleting Instagram from my phone a few weeks ago. Now the time I spend on my phone are used to productive stuff such as looking up good essay compositions or listening to music without doing anything else, etc! Thank you so much!

this was a great video! i would love it if you expanded on how you go about doing meal preps and what your go-to's would be for snacks, meals, and treats/desserts. i am a student who does need to commute and i find myself resorting to on-campus foods or fast food places around campus because it's easier is overall quicker. Love your stuff!

Love your videos and thank you for putting the ad for skillshare at the end of your video!! so many videos I have watched put it at the beginning and make it much harder to either skip past or know when to start actively listening. At least at the end I can let it play while I read comments or scroll for a new recommended video to watch.

I weirdly never had a problem with checking social media alot. I have Snapchat, Instagram and facebook downloaded but I see checking it as a choice. So I have enough control to simply say no. If I get a notification, I don't because I've turned my notifications off on everything to avoid temptation (even though I wasn't often tempted). Your time is your choice and if you're turning to social media, simply say no. Distract yourself and you'll learn that saying no isn't as hard as you think

1. Blocking out Sundays for free time allows you to spend quality time with family and allows you to unwind 2. Take advantage of the energy you have in the morning and wake up even earlier to get things done. 3. Meal prepping helps you be healthier 4. Deleting social media (or any app you have an unhealtht addiction) saves you time and allows you to do things you love and eliminates distractions 5. You don’t need a whole lotta of supplies or advice videos or a pile of notebooks. Find what is just enough. It helps your productivity immensely.
