Question: We have same Processor explorer in win10pro64bit being run with admin rights but even after termination of an application/process/processes; that process/processes still show up in Process explorer which is annoying. This behavior did not exist in win 7 etc. Any solution please?

Hello! Do you know any software that scans your computer and find the missing drivers or drivers that needed to be back up? thank you in advance.
@motoryzen4 жыл бұрын
You're better off doing that work yourself. ( applicable also to these so called registry cleaners ). Most often that software, be it free of charge or costing money, might do the job they advertise doing, but they also data mine you and sometimes mess with things they shouldn't. Become more computer self-sufficient and free yourself from the need of such software. That is the better road in the long run.
@johnmead25804 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking Driver updates is something you should do on your own as Motoryzen states, here's why, There are too many driver app's out there that don't do a proper job of it, sure they may find your driver but do you know where it came from??, also after driver updates they can flood your system with malware, and other crap!???...or even while installing your driver's.... Ultimately Slowing down and infecting your system... If on win 10 just go to device manager, and right click on the driver in question, and select first option, (Automatically update driver software) from the internet, if this didn't work right? . Microsoft wouldn't have even close too the market share they have Now.., Not a microsoft salesman here.., P.S. I use windows to fix other's headaches with it..., That is all, besides some games don't work with other O.S.'es, I.E. Linux, which is getting better @ it all the time, (Playing windows games on linux), via wine, lutris ,play on linux, and Steam as well...,

This looks interesting, but being a novice on a PC, this is far too powerful for me since I don't have a clue about 99% of all the stuff mentioned, and what they do.....I might click something to see what it does, and find that I have broken something. When I did this on Windows 98 and 98SE I broke many things, and even managed to delete the registry once, all this cost me £10 for a friend (into computers) to come out and fix it, or do a complete reinstallation.....:) I just use Ashampoo Optimzer for a bit of a scan and a clean up, and so far it has not broken anything. Apart from that I have Win 10 with a fresh installation with just the OS, updates, and some software on it cloned onto another SSD, so if the main one conks out for some reason, I can just clone it over with either Acronis TI, AOMEI Backupper and Ashampoo Backup Pro to do the job, as installing Windows is a right pain in the botty.......:)

It is true that a lot of malware comes with "fixing software". I've never seen the one in this video, but I'm sure there's also legit ones. One thing to worry about is: what are you actually fixing ? I mean, just running a "fixing" program ... you gotta have some context.

I want to switch to Linux. But there's a hidden storage where Windows and system files are reserved by default when I bought my laptop. I want to format that and all the storage and install fresh Linux OS onto it.
@ivanguerra12604 жыл бұрын
But whats the problem ? All your system is deleted when you install Linux direct in your C: Drive, don´t worry.
@vineetraghav91534 жыл бұрын
@@ivanguerra1260 Well, yes but actually no. I was told that the storage is protected from the interference. And remains compatible with Windows OS because my laptop came with Windows by default. I didn't install it myself.

That one indeed is more detailed when it comes to version control of the application: you can see what version you are missing. It's not always a big upgrade, if there is an upgrade. And PMP also has more software listed than Ninite. But, Ninite is a great tool. I really wonder what is their basis of software selection.
