I had a severe sciatica attack almost a year ago. Had to use a walker for a month just to get to the bathroom. Its getting much better after pt, acupuncture. But what really helped the most is a inversion table. Anyway i had lingering symptoms of neuropathy on right side. Discovered that rolling a tennis ball on the bottom my foott is working wonders in just days! Numbness and pins and needles is less than half. Kinda like the same exercise one uses to treat planter fasiitis.

I had chronic Sciatica back in 2021. It lasted 2 months and left me with damaged nerves in both feet especially my left side. It's very noticeable in bed when l can't sleep!! I'm having an MRI scan of my Lumbar spine on Saturday to see if the protruding disc in my back is still out of place. My Podiatrist said Peripheral Neuropathy can't be cured but manipulation can help.. It's debilitating when painful walking added to osteoarthritis inmy knees and bad balance.. But, hey, l'm just learning to live with these changes in my 70 year old body..😅 Have a good day out there. Regards from Scotland..🏴😉

If anyone is reading my comment, all my foot pain is gone in 3 weeks after 3 years of pain with 250 mg. R-ALA (Stabilized R-Alpha Lipoic Acid) & 500 mg. ALC (Acetyl L-Carnitine) that's all! No exercises, no nothing! After three weeks all my pain is gone for good. Try it, it's worth it! Don't stop treatment for 52 weeks! Taking it in the morning on an empty stomach, is very important! I discovered something tonight .. Ive had neuropathy for 20 years. The only thing that helped me was Tramadol …after retiring I wanted to try to get off some meds. I no longer take Tramadol for pain and doing fine …I have a little discomfort at times but not like I use to. (I have a low pain tolerance) well tonight out of nowhere I got these sharp stabbing electrical shocks in my left foot and it wouldn’t stop. Something told me to put Vicks on the spot and almost instantly it stopped and after a couple of hours still no shocks. I could not believe it and vowed to share this …it’s worth a try and putting on white cotton socks .. I do hope it helps

HiGh Guys What might be some suggestions for my lower 5th Metatarsal. Below the Jones fracture which I may not have. My l/foot is at 30degrees and I feel like i am walking on the tail of the metatarsal. A possible problem is the fact I wear medical grade footwear, the bootmaker has failed to accommodate the ankle foot orthotic. This is where pressure exists. The bootmaker reckons he is unable to scour out the inside of the boot to take up the AFO bulge. Is the bootmaker not thinking straight? Should I not have the 5th Metatarsal scraped to concentrate on the boot? Cheers Dave
