I am 83 years old. I have retired three times, and I have too much energy to be retired. I now work full-time as a minister enjoying speaking, teaching and helping people. I have always felt and still feel very young. I'm happy to say that my genetics are good. I started strength training at 63 & really appreciate the benefits it delivers. These exercises you've shown us are excellent & I plan to incorporate them into my routine. Blessings to All.

The translation and dubbing are hilarious, but the information is very interesting and well presented. No one else is talking about these muscles. I especially like how you show the muscles on the skeleton. It makes it very easy to remember. The demonstrations are very clear. Good teacher! I’ve really been noticing how poor posture is terribly aging, even on slim active people. This is very helpful.

Do this! I weight train most days for years. I sleep on my shoulders and wake up with bad posture and do my training. Today I did this method first and wow! It totally transformed my shoulders and posture. There are no other exercises that do this. Add them to your routine or just do these, they really worked wonders in one day! Will continue every day. Now my other muscles look much better presented, my whole posture and yes - my youth!

When I exercise these muscles around the shoulders the get pumped. When they get pumped even for the first time they will come alive after sleeping and pull on the tendon and ligament connections to the bone. Having been toned up and pumped they pull my shoulders back. I’m not getting paid for this. Without exercising them the shoulders just roll forward. After exercising you’ve awakened the muscles operate on your skeleton. It’s simple and it worked for me the first time. Now I do it every day. Try it once and see. Of course you have to help the shoulders back but it’s not like it was before the exercise. My posture sucks but it’s better after exercise. Everyone knows that muscle training helps posture and here too especially.

@NostalgiaFan1974 - As an even older man, (10/66) I 1,000% agree with what you are saying. After a 4 year layoff, I am back in the gym. What has been hard to grasp, (pun funny intended), is at first weights were not fun to pick up. But what you are talking about is 80/20 at it's best. My routine is slightly longer than yours and it keeps me fired up. My dad just turned 80 and he's a beast as he walks as much as possible. ROCK ON. For the other viewers out there, I purchased a slack block maybe 7 years ago to help with my basketball playing and balance.

@@harleyb.birdwhisperer You could easily do 25 Indian push ups and 25 Indian squatts in 5 minutes ("easy" applies to time here), that would already some solid work out. That said exercices in this video will already take more than 5 minutes with 3 repeats, if done calmly... maybe as a warming, then another 5 minutes stretching after the pumps ans squatts... let's say 15 minutes?

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

I have a few exercises that helped my neck pain out, I noticed that a standing shoulder press with the barbell really helps with neck pain, especially if you lift the bar up slightly behind the neck while you press up. The momentum is more natural than I make it sound to be, but with neck pain, always use lighter weights, my ego taught me the hard way on not to use heavier weights. Also I noticed that a lat pulldown machine with the handles facing frontwards of the seat also help greatly with neck pain. And not the least, I noticed that pull-ups also help a lot. I hope this helps

Basically all of the muscles you point out are ones that I have weakness in, plus my gluteus medius, and all of the exercises I have been instructed to do are, like yours, very simple, "easy" and specific. I can continue to DO them! (Unlike my past attempts at weight machines in a gym.) I'm 66, female and have trouble with arthritis and a brain/spine issue that I had brain surgery for in 2004. I'm a pain patient due to this problem, but am very lucky with few other symptoms of the condition and I have been ok'd to exercise and do stretching. I ha e been taught the limits for stretching and exercise for my condition I used to exercise a great deal, so I'm familiar with how to exercise safely. I tried these exercises this morning because I need to begin a stretching program again as my pain levels have increased. I have to say. I FEEL BETTER! These exercises are very good, at least for me. Thank you!

Just tried the first one and it feels good. I'll try the rest tomorrow. I find that looking up at the stars, clouds, etc is also great for posture, mobility, stability, circulation, etc. I also enjoy shooting baskets and rebounding. This strengthens the pec minor and serratus anterior. I'm 65. Making music also helps because good instrumental and vocal technique demands and strengthens good posture. Thank you for showing us these exercises and explaining their effect on circulation above the shoulders.

I think these exercises also make sense, as my upper body is not as developed as it could be. I am going to try these along with cranial head massage from the first video I watched. Thank you!

If it's the ulnar nerve you're gonna need to do ulnar nerve flossing. There are numerous places your nerves can get trapped on the way down to your hands. When I had this problem years ago I bought some or Mark Bell's elbow cuffs to trap blood in my arms. Wore them every day at work for a time. Then I would do flossing techniques to stretch the nerve. The good news is depending on the cause this can be treated without surgery if you manage to find something that works. The reason why I chose to increase blood flow to the elbow is because my nerve flicks over the bone in my left elbow and got trapped on my right. It's been years and I never get pain or tingling there anymore.

@@lindaponder6590 good luck, I've heard some people can't reverse it. I never bothered to see a doc in a box. I just researched the issue and understood a little about powerlifting gear. People with bad injuries restrict the blood in the joint and use it to lift lighter weight to get the same results. Triple h did this after he got injured. This is slightly different though and if you get the elbow cuffs you need to find the right size. It's ridiculously tight but definitely traps bl00d in the joint which is good. You just don't want to leave them on to long for obvious reasons. I wouldn't stretch in them because you kind of can't lol. I think mine healed pretty quick... but if your nerve is flicking over the bone that will never go away. I honestly don't ever think about it and can't feel it or tell it's doing that anymore though. I doubt it will be as easy for everyone who encounters this as it was for me.. I'm also not recommending you do this without seeing someone. I had a very good understanding of my issue. Only you know your body and can make the right decision for yourself. You need to evaluate where the nerve is trapped or where the problem is and go from there.
