Visited London last December. Loved it! Came back with few extra pounds😁 Too bad didn't know about these places, especially the jianbing one, it's probably my favorite Chinese food. I hope all these places will survive the pandemic and will bring more joy to londoners and guests.

Amazing the fabulous street food one can get in Paris and London now as well as everywhere else in the world! People couldn't get this variety 50 years ago or so even where I live now, but now we can, thankfully! Food is the great unifier along with music! Can you imagine the world, especially the big cities, without immigration (as some of those old sods want)? How boring food would be? How wonderful that in the same city you can walk and find some oddly fantastic colombian fusion dish, a brazilian/amazonian flatbread, a chinese crepe, an indian burger, whacky greek-mexican fries and who knows what else?! Now I'm sad I don't live in one of those big cities and our food is boring.😂...and I'm hungry😅

@Fardin Ahsan Dude, my comment wasn't that deep. I was merely talking about the variety of foods and extreme anti-immigration opponents (i.e. to have none at all). Immigration is a more nuanced topic obviously and it's impossible to generalize as each country has different policies and history with it. As for the backlash you mention, that wasn't as much about teaching kids about not discriminating against gays (things that have long been mentioned in UK education for quite some time), but about the new 'No Outsiders' materials being introduced which isn't about 'don't discriminate gays' but is downright indoctrination on the anti-scientific gender ideology nonsense pushing the trans ID thing to extremes (including literally false info on the protected categories in the Equalities Act) and a lot of other very disturbing ideas about 'breaking the notions of kids as nonsexual beings and seeing them instead as sexual being to engage with teachers' (I wish I were kidding, this is the shit the guy who wrote that material is putting in there..and he was a teacher! creepster vibes to the max). I didn't understand what the fuss was about when they reported it in the news as I support gay rights 100% and am gay myself, then I took the time to revise the material and then read a very thorough analysis of it that was published a couple of weeks ago and it's insane. I would've protested too and would be picketing parliament until they removed that crap from all schools, if I could. It's not a muslim thing, that they are being conservative or whatever, it's the disturbing nature of the material itself. I can't believe no one reviewed that garbage before they pushed it into schools.

randomm User1237589 plus immigration has its cons.It can lead to a minority in the natives.Illegal drug dealers and Terrorist can sneak militants in.It can lead to clashing religions. It can lead to clashing political views. In a very rare situations it can let extremists in a country to sabatoge or kill natives.Whilst I do not believe in a complete cut off of immigration to much immigration can lead to conflict.

Having been to Baba Gs in Camden Market, I can vouch that it is indeed delicious. The burgers have a really nice and fairly strong mix of flavours (I'd recommend the Lamb Alfrezi burger) plus they come with fries (again with a indian inspired flavour) which it makes for a great meal. Just keep in mind Camden Market closes at 6 so either go for lunch or a very early dinner. Make sure to go hungry!

This video highlights one thing I noticed about European countries while travelling- food from other countries and cultures seem to dominate the local food scene, more so than "local" dishes. I was recommended kebab, or Thai or Vietnamese food when I asked what was good around the area. Rarely did anyone recommend something that is really local. I'm from Singapore, and if anyone asks "what is your best food/restaurant here?", it will definitely be a Singaporean dish. This is pretty much the case for every Asian country.

But “Singaporean food” is already a mix of different cultures; you have Indian, Malaysian, Chinese, etc. I grew up in SE Asia, constantly visited Sg and the cuisine is so broad that what’s “good” can honestly be anything. Living in the UK now, I personally find english food bland as hell but fish n chips are dope af.

Bullshit, english food IS good. What's wrong with fish and chips, and meat pies, rich stews, bangers and mash, beef wellington, fruit cobbler, shepherds pie, cottage pie, the full english breakfast, hot pot, pasties, sunday roast, apple pie, tarts, bread and butter pudding, pound cake, etc... then again your username is Penis, so really what do you know?

@@Physicist- It's a matter of ingredients. In the UK we didn't have all those spices and ingredients native to our lands, we had to make do with plain old carrots, peas, meat etc. I think the best we had to season food, etc. was salt and nothing else really until the British Empire brought spices back to the UK

@@trolololololololololololol6124 since when? Have you been to england? Ive literally never seen a restuarant like that other than... kfc, which is literally the companies name. Also american cuisine isnt a part of our cuisine. British cuisine is a part of american cuisine. Apple pie for instance, was mostly invented in england. American cuisine is literally just getting german, british and italian food and claiming it as your own. Nobody calls curry ‘british food’, in the uk we refer to food like curry as ‘indian’, burgers arnt ‘german’ in the us.

I hope you'll do a story just about the food at Old Spitalfields Market in London. There's "Flank "with their nose-to-tail comfort food, "Pleasant Lady" also has a stall there, there's "Sud Italia" with amazing italian pizzas, "Dumpling shack" with delicious Chinese dumplings and noodles, "Wheelcake Island" with their Taiwanese wheelcakes and a slew of other food makers. Then nearby it's "Butter Believe It" - a cake shop that opened not so long ago. It's a husband and wife team + a friend who have the tastiest cakes. And funny puns to boot )))
