That's one thing I really like about all these, by now I have all the ingredients... None of these things is hard to do, so it's like advanced bachelor cooking! You just have to pick one. I think I'm going to try soy sauce flavor with fatty pork. I don't mind spicy food, but that really did look good. Then "Creamy"? Never heard of that, but it looks like a new "comfort" food that's easy to make. As long as we don't run out of green onions, we're good.

Aaron, I just made the Soy Sauce Tteokbokki and it was OUTSTANDING! I soak my rice cakes in boiling water for 30 min first because I like them soft- between a marshmallow and gummy bear density. 2 things for those thinking about making this: first, if you don't buy these ingredients thinking you'll rarely use them- trust me, you WILL be craving these flavors and you WILL use them up. 2nd, if you look at the pot and think the sauce is too watery, DON'T try to thicken it! The rice cake will thicken the sauce in a few minutes. I wilk be making this over and over!

I would LOVE to go out to eat with Claire! I get super excited about my food and it’s always fun to be with other people who share the same excitement!! Aaron, Thank you for the recipes as always! Also, if anyone is cooking tteokbokki from a bag that’s frozen, you have to soak them in water first or they’ll be super hard, no matter how long you cook them. Learned that the hard way lol
