So, I have noticed one thing that is all the blackpill channels on youtube shows the professional photos taken of good-looking men and then selfies of average to below-average men. You know very well that selfies do slightly elongate your face right? Also, selfies cameras don't show the actual facial proportions. Why don't you include selfies of good-looking men then it will be a fair competition. Many men I see( not all) clearly drop in scale when we see their professional photos and then when we see their selfies or pictures taken by them or by some non-experienced person. A professional experienced photographer with good angles can make or break your face aesthetics.

I think your three tier rating should be 4 tiers tbh. high tier normies/chadlites should have their own category. A 5/10 man lives in a vastly different world than a 7/10 man. 5/10 men will mostly match with landwhales on dating apps and will have to jestermax/simp to get laid; Whereas, 7/10 men will not experience any of that. The reality is that 8/10+ men are actually very scarce IRL and often taken; so Chadlites are more common frat boy slayers. Photo feeler is a bunch of bullshit, they basically judge how good your picture is instead of how good looking you are. I have gotten a 9.1/10 and a 9.4/10 on two pictures which were voted only by girls under 24 (im 21) and each picture had around 70 votes (so quite accurate). Something pretty similar to you, happened to me as well, I have always been decently attractive growing up, but after puberty I would say I did go to the higher end (and when I finally found a good hairstyle, I am probably a 7-8+, around "chad" level, either on the lower or higher end based on different people), but, as you said, I was also very awkward, avoiding eye contact, avoiding social situations, being extremely nervous, cutting contact with most of my peers and basically loosing my social life (that's mostly before the "glow up" of puberty, but I was still good looking then), even tho I was like that, it was still rather easy to be "social", I could pretty much talk to anyone and they would listen, if I asked for help there would be someone to help me, etc., which only got easier, as I became better and better looking, but I had trouble dating, not because I didn't have girls who liked me (unless I was terribly mistaken, but the amount of attention/physical contact would back me up), I never went for it, in fact, the first time I did try (beyond the "I wish I had a girlfriend" and doing something about getting with a girl) I actually got a girlfriend quite fast. So my conclusion is that you need at least basic social skills in order to succeed, even if you are a chad, because of two main reasons, first you need to be actually in contact with girls for it to work and two, if you are too awkward/shy it can take away from your looks greatly, especially if a girl jokes with you and you think she is making fun of you (no confidence, resulting in always thinking the worst), which will further push you down and give you a hard time. Being attractive is kind of like having a super nice car, it can get you somewhere fast, but you still have to sit behind the wheel and drive in order to get there.

This goes to show how subjective looks can be sometimes. Alot of the dudes you rated as below 5 aren't even bad looking to me. IN fact, they look more like normies than ugly. For example, the top two guys on the number 4 at 01:00 look like normies. And the top guy has good hollow cheekbones, which can push him up to a HTN or atleast a 5.5/10, based on that alone. Just going back on your earlier point about women virtue signalling - "Not my type" doesn't always mean she thinks of you deep down as being a 3 or a 4, sometimes she does genuinely mean that. Later you spoke about the pretty boy to most masculine scale and the bell curve. Some women really appreciate a pretty boy, but aren't personally attracted to them. Chances are, they have friends that possess a weak spot for them. That doesn't necessarily mean you're not attractive, she may just prefer more masculine looking men. Some women like bald men with tattoos, some women have a weak spot for hairy men, some like a certain hair colour. There's so many different variables to people and attractiveness. I just don't think you can arbitrarily pigeonhole people like this simply because the tastes of people are far too complex and are shaped and moulded by so many different things. Ultimately, you're either attractive or you aren't, but nobody is going to be attractive to absolutely everybody. Even the stereotypical Chad can be seen as unattractive to some females if they have a preference for a totally different look or even ethnicity. Alot of Hollywood celebrities that I remember women going crazy for back in the day weren't even tall for example, many of them were average to below average height in some cases and they are supposed to be the benchmark for attractiveness. I've always taken the number rating very seriously. My two constants are as follows. Low End: You cannot be a 2 or 1 unless you have actual deformities, meaning that even if you have ugly as sin features I still can't put you under 3 unless it actually grows incorrectly as opposed to just poor growth. High End: Now I haven't done enough theory crafting for women but for men, I don't think you can be an 8 until you're 6 foot. Like even if you're hollywood handsome I can't put you at 8 or higher. 9 for men is when you also have a good skeletal structure on top of tall height and 10 can only be achieved by preference for either sexes. Dressing individually, Dressing well for your build, Being part of a scene or style like rockers, rappers, skaters punks goths etc, being around like minded people... embracing talents and skills... Gym and tanning, cool tattoos, good grooming, staying fresh and clean. As a black woman who has a preference for white guys it’s actually very hard spotting a white guy that I think is very attractive! My first boyfriend was white and was only about 5”10 but has a pretty boy face…he also has the dark hair fair skin phenotypes which are more my type! I would love to see you do a video on black men although you are white because although my preference is for white men I actually can say I think black men look the best phenotypically and age the best! I’ve met 50 year old black men who look like 38-45! I mean just look at Kevin samuels…he’s in his 50s and I don’t think he’d have as much of a problem attracting women as a white or Asian guy would at the same age!

The video addresses rating men on a 1 - 10 scale but it isn't really looking at it from the female perspective. One of the dating services had men rate women and women rate men as they looked at pictures. The men's ratings were fairly accurate and had a fairly normal bell curve with the majority of the women falling into the middle (4-5-6) range and only a few at the lower or upper ends. Females on the other hand had 80% of the pictures rated as "average or below average" and only 20% or so as attractive. This is just looking at faces but women are a lot pickier than that. A man could have a stunningly handsome face and be 5' 4" and be considered a joke to most women. Other things that impact female's ratings are the perception that the man does or doesn't have resources. I saw a video once where the op was testing this - a very nice guy who was 5' 4" and had a nice, confident personality met with a group of females and 100% of them rejected him as a possible date with comments like "he is cute and nice but I want someone much taller than me". When the op let it be known that he was from a wealthy family and going to school to be a doctor the picture changed - several who rejected him before were now willing to date him.

I disagree, studies show over half of men are rated below 5. Secondly, in theory there should be an equal amount of 3's as 8's, yet there are significantly more 3's. I do agree most people do tend towards "average" attractiveness though

Stardard deviation theory uses an 8 pint scale (-4 to +4. and Where 0 is average). PSL raters, use this 8 point scale, for tha reason. According to standard deviation theory (8 point scale): 68% of men are 3 to 5 range. 16% of men are 0 - 3 range 16% of men are 5 - 8 range. IF, I were to change this 8 point scale, to the 10 scale. 68% of men are 4- to 6+ rate. 16% are 0 to 4- rate 16% of men are 6+ - 10 range. Damn just typing it out. being an 7 in the normie scale, should actually mean that you are top 10% of men (you look better than 90% of men your age).
