Like you video! I'm student pilot last flight instructor did not talk he keep his malth shot. He did not explaining me anything I was asking him questions he did not answer any of my questions. I flown only 2 lessons with him and never again I fired him😆 I watchin many videos like yours and those vids educated me well. Red 🚩 Trashing flight instructor.

I’m very sad to see this after finished my PPL for 140hrs+… my instructor got whole 5 red flags that you mentioned here… but because he got his licenses pretty fast and was nice to me, I didn’t think of changing, I thought it was my own problems, because I’m a bad and slow student. 1. I failed every single flight lessons and kept repeating for more than 5 times per one lesson (he didn’t even explain this unsat rating until I found out and asked him, he told me he just wanted to give me some practices) 2. I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t see the progress of myself. When I asked him, he always said that you are doing good just need more practice. He didn’t even do the debriefing after the flights. 3. He was always late for the schedule with many excuses. 4. Sometimes when I asked him questions, he said “you don’t need to know this for PPL”

The worst experience I had was when the flight instructor did the ground brief and debrief during run-up taking extra 0.4 - 0.6 Hobbs Time

Here's a few more. They yap with others during the lesson and charge you for it. You surpass them during the training on the maneuvers.

Can you make a video on how to become a great Instructor and save your students money, I'm about to finish my Private Pilot Checkride and in the future it will be wise to get my CFi(to have more options to build hours) but I don't think I'll be a good teacher. There are part 135 opportunitys but I feel like learning this skill will help me become a better Captain in the future and a better person. Thank you

in this video, every time you used the word "instructor" I could have replaced it with the word "Student"
