I absolutely can’t believe it but when I went to the store today to get trusty pork rinds, starting keto again, they had maltodextrin on them. Of all the things. So I did as he said and looked around until I found something that at least just had pork rinds and salt. I never knew this before thank you so very much for telling us this. I’ve never heard it mentioned. I love your channel and thank you for helping me get back on the keto.

G'day Jennifer, we have what we call pork crackle here in Australia, probably the same thing. I put it in the Nutra Bullet (mini food processer) to make it into a powder and coat potato chips after I spray them with vegetable oil and whack them in the air fryer . A mix of pork crackle and garlic powder goes great too. BTW I am a 77 year old Aussie bloke that loves cooking.😎. Just a matter of interest, today we have another day of over 43 degrees Celsius (about 116 F), this is the 5 consecutive day of over 42...

Your video popped up today and I watched it. Today, I subbed 1/2 of the almond flour for an equal amount of crushed pork rinds in the muffin recipe I made. It really lowered the total carb count, and the muffins looked and tasted the same. I will be doing this from now on.

Can I bake the egg & pork rind coated chicken thighs in a reg oven? I don't want to get an air fryer. Thanks

It would be like using "Shake & Bake."

Thank you Jennifer. All I cook is easy food!! Love pork rinds with any type of dip. I have a real problem getting them to stick to the food I am frying, I dip my meat in egg first then in pork rinds but so much of it comes off when frying, so do you have a secret? I love to cook chicken livers rolled in pork rinds.

I let whatever I am frying up sit and dry a little. Like maybe 30 min or so. Seems to help the "breading" to stay on.

As far as the crushed pork rinds go, the 7oz party bag from porking good is 11.99 and the 12oz crushed pork rinds are 11.99 so it's actually cheaper.
