I have done the brain dump method, but I would lump project pieces in with small tasks and it would feel awkward. I love the idea of keeping project pieces separate and focusing on the small tasks of it as they make sense. Great idea!

Hi I am new to your channel and I come from the UK. I am only in Year 9 but we are picking subjects to take for our GCSE’s and I really want to become a primary school teacher ( ages 4-11). I love the whole concept and your videos are so helpful and they just make me more excited about the future ahead. Keep going as the more videos I watch on your channel, the more it inspires me to become a teacher. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your videos are awesome! I am looking for the 43 filing system (I think that’s the name) you included in a video. I have been searching but can’t find it. Can you tell me which video you explain it?

I like for everything to be online, so I have it available at all times. I use Google Calendar for dates, times and appointments, Planbook.com for lesson planning and Google Keep for my to do lists, to buy lists, to bring from home lists. I consult the lists before school and before bed, and before going out to stores. It really works for me.

Did bullet journaling work??? I use all your planners but don't have the A5 for 2018 so I started a bullet journal for home. So now it's a plan book for classroom (Yours which I love), planner for school and bulllet journal for life....too many planners!!!! Do you bring your planner to work everyday? Do you bring your plan book home?

+Jessica Borner so funny you ask about bullet journaling. I did like it... however, I was very particular with the way my calendar looked and I hated taking extra time to make a weekly page. I needed something ready to go. What I talk about with my lists is very much like bullet journal but with a calendar. This has been what I've used the past year and I love it. I do not bring my teacher planner home unless I have to plan. I try to have everything ready for the next day. I do bring my A5 planner back and fourth everyday. This planner is all encompassing. It has budget, business, life and teaching inside. Hope this helps you more. 😘

I am struggling with going back and forth between planners. I am in a personal size, but have bullet journaled. Having everything in one spot. How do you not stuff your ring bound? I always feel so disorganized. This year: new school, new grade level, new curriculum. YIKES!

+Kathryn Wilson I've been right where you are right now. I remember having a planner for my calendar, a bullet journal for my notes, a traveler's notebook for my reading etc. when I switched over to having a calendar, tasks and project lists it changed me. I understood more clearly what the goal was for each section and I was using it more effectively. In the past, j tried to separate my lists based on categories and that too was overwhelming. Someone I've watched recently said: "I have one life so I should have one planner." That truly speaks to my tip o having everything in one spot. I also spend a little time clean out my planner every month and do not keep more than 4 months of the calendar in my planner. Anything that needs to be added to the months outside of my planner goes on a sticky note on the last page of my planner. That way I am reminded to move it to the new months. Hope this helps a little.
