Really appreciated the stretching routine. I'm 65 and stilling doing my best to work out, but realized I don't do much stretching. I will begin to incorporate both of these workouts into my daily routine. Two random comments, love the shoes, and the image of you doing the side plank really demonstrated how the muscles work in this movement. Thank you.

I love the room or patio you are in with the big window (or open spaces) and the lovely yard with the green grass and trees and the tied back curtains. The white wicker furniture is very refreshing and adds to the calmness and grace of the environment. Lucky you! Love your friendly, laid back style of instructing. You seem very natural, yet focused.

Thank yu or sharing. Would love to see more of this type of fitness videos. Too few athletes focus on effective pre-workout and flexibility for injury prevention and recovery. This is one the best overall videos for the aforementioned I've ever seen. Short, concise, and enjoyable to watch. Great job!

Kristi, I am big into stretching and I really loved your video. I would be delighted if you could have yourself a "stretching corner" because I would definitely be interested to follow along. I am almost 64 but your video really inspired me, and I really believe stretching routines are understated. The abs routine you suggest is a perfect compliment too. : )

Thanks for showing your exercises! I liked your clear, simple explanations. Just some thoughts for the 50 plus crowd here. First, if you cannot due the seated butterfly stretch due to being chubby, inflexible, or because of lower back pain, you can also do it lying flat on your back (it looks the same, except you are laying down, and you get into it first while lying on your back). The forearm stretch is effective, but for those with previous injuries or wrist weakness , you can damage the ulnar area (notch just under your pinkie) even not fully applying it, which is what happened when I tried it two years ago -still not healed. Rotation-of-wrist excerises can cause many problems for some people. Just some thoughts!

I have been stretching for longer than you've been alive. I'm 62 now and I can say without any hesitation that stretching is probably the number 1 beneficial thing that a person can do for themselves. You're in incredible condition and it's obvious that you strength train a lot. Good job for using a stretching routine to all you do and thanks for sharing your stretching techniques with everyone. You don't have to worry about it yet but stretching is very important as you begin to age. I can tell you all about that! 🤣

@sniffingdogartofficial72574 жыл бұрын
What body part did you focus on dude? I haven't done any NO in ages but yeah I should get back on it.
@thewalkindude77164 жыл бұрын
@@sniffingdogartofficial7257 I actually used the NO formula to calculate the number of sets and came up with a full body workout. So, I would start with a 2 mile run and then do a full body workout. I did this every day for 30 days straight. When I tell people this they're like "Oh man, that's stupid!" LoL. But, if you come up with a good plan, stick to the plan and really listen to your body, you should be fine. I started to feel fatigued around day 25 and then around day 28 my traps and pecks started to feel a little over trained, but I made it through the entire 30 days. When I was done, I took 8 days off. No cardio. No strength training. I just stretched every day. The 8 days off wasn't a set plan. I planned for 7-14 days off but I just listened to my body and when I felt ready I was back in the gym. For me, that was day 9. I thought I'd lose a lot during the 8 days off but I didn't and when I went back to the gym using my normal split, I was even stronger. I'm very happy with the results.
@sniffingdogartofficial72574 жыл бұрын
@@thewalkindude7716 Yo dude, no, no, I don't think that sounds stupid at all, or anything like that. As you say, if you feel overtrained you can pull back, and especially if you're used to training hard I don't think anyone's suddenly gonna' die from doing full body each day. I wrote up a similar plan that I was ready to test out, then yeah Corona happened ahahah. So yeah, still doing home workouts for now but yeah I'm glad to hear you had such good results man, always encouraging.
