Just got back from daughter's wedding. After absorbing insights from Hermit mode series I was able to interact with toxic family members in a healthy and positive manner. I protected myself and they in turn respected the boundaries I placed. I was able to enjoy the wedding with people I enjoyed being with! Thank you Wenzes!

Ask this question Dave! "As an INFJ, I need to know if you are on any type of medication that effects your ablity in a positive way and allows you or motivates you to be able to follow through with any goals in your life that keeps you going? I have been doing my best to do without medication to achieve my goals in life but yet I am cut off at EVERY TURN by mf's that love to fvck with INFJ's and have even ruined my life with me trying to defend myself and others! I have even lost my "freedoms" trying to do so! And I have never been able to acheive any goals without the help of Drugs. So again. Are you on any kind medication or not because you seem to be high on something other than a "normal" INFJ human being! If so I want to know what it is so I to can follow through with my goals to help others that are also INFJ's! This is a question that NOBODY ever knows to ask because 90% of people do not take psych drugs that will ever admit! You don't need to tell me the accual drug name only if you taske meds at all?" TY!

Wenzes, this comment is especially for you 😊 After watching this video (and a lot of others on your channel), I have never been so deeply happy to be a cookie-cutter stock standard person (of the INFJ variety). Now I know what other people feel like when they go to a concert! 😅 Your videos have given me an ever-growing list of explanations of so many things I've felt in my life. I've only worked out my MBTI type recently and, after some scouring, I think your contribution on KZbin seems to be the most insightful stuff on the INFJ topic. You've explained to me why: - when I was 12 and at a concert, I was the only kid sitting down when everyone else was jumping up because I couldn't see the point - I've never been able to muster a fear of authority figures. I would not feel an issue with coming up to talk to someone extremely powerful or famous, of course with a relevant dose of respect for their achievements, but never fear. I have often felt like something is wrong with me because everyone else around me seems a lot more "reverent". I also don't feel a distinction between me and people who are technically lower than me in status. - why I have different groups of friends and feel myself changing to reflect the people I am with when I'm in respective groups. I don't want the groups to meet because I think they all would think worse of me for being able to find (and actually truly feel) a common vibe with the others. I've often agonised about what that means about me as a person - am I flaky, am I unreliable, do I not have a stable center? How can I feel in tune with such opposing views? - why I cycle through interests every few weeks. Why I can be really into a topic, 110% invested in it and then turn off and be equally invested in something else. This is something that really deeply troubled me, as it suggested that I am inconsistent and incapable of developing a hobby. I didn't realize that my hobby was gathering information about the fascinating world we all live in. - why the only thing I can't get enough of is psychology and neuroscience (better yet, the two together 😅) - why I feel almost physical pleasure when I see a clean, organized environment and I get so down-trodden by messy areas (especially if I have no way of getting away from it). Why, despite loving a clean space, actual cleaning feels like an uphill battle every time and I can never make it as nice as I want it to be. Why I love and respect my higher level Se friends who seem to be able to do it so well! Wenzes, you've given me tips on how to work with my weaknesses, how to grow myself instead of looking to others for what I need. That a lot of how I've experienced life has been because I actually am different to a lot of other people, but I am NOT unique and there are plenty of others in the world like me. It really does take one to know one and I am glad to finally be known, especially by my own self - a fact which likely would have taken much, much longer to come about without you.

We are basically mavericks. This is a big deal for me: 10:58 #5 "We're way more powerful than we look like" and I will add: "than we think we are". I mean, at least it is my case.

I’d say we are fiercely independent but I’m curious of the experiences of others infjs that force us to strive to be so independent. I imagine we’ve learnt very young that we can’t rely on others. I wonder how many infjs suffered from any childhood trauma that would of triggered that attitude to be so independent.
@dewpi249 ай бұрын
For sure there was trauma, however, ppl usually think that it’s too much work on their part to then also do the work of allowing us to be ourselves. Way too much hiding from the beginning = trauma.

SUPER VIDEO! I appreciated this list. In fact, I'm still learning some of these things about myself, especially #5: "We are more powerful than we look.". I appreciated every one of these points. I especially identified with number one: ("We look at everyone eye level; we don't believe in hierarchies") and number two: ("We don't believe in followers."). My father was a preacher and art teacher - how's that for a combination!" My mom taught piano; they had confidence in what they did, but I never saw either one of them look down on anybody. When they taught, they always encouraged people to think for themselves. I learned respectful treatment of others from them, and am grateful for it. And as an infj who believed in these five principles even before hearing them, this all resonated great with me because it was a way of life at our house.

~2.00 into feed. Many INFJs have lived unstable uncertain situations from early childhood. They were literally making life and death decisions before they could even speak. For example, I want my diaper changed or am hungry but in this situation I get beaten and abused. If I sit here in my nappy and with my hungry tummy, eventually food appears and the nappy is changed. What this does is precipitate a consciousness that is adult before they are even verbal or only recently verbal. My first "life or death" decision was when I was four and went out and saw that the ducks had flown out of their cages. My mother the night before had made it clear that tomorrow was Sunday and I was NOT to disrupt her and her husband because "he would kill us". (Subtext, if he did not get his Sunday morning sex before facing the world.) So, as a four year old, seeing the ducks were out, knowing it was life or death to disturb my mother or father, burst into their bedroom yelling "the ducks are out, the ducks are out, the ducks are out". He went on berserker rage because I had interupted his intimacy. Fortunately, my mother was able to say "What is she saying? She is repeating something."

I honestly think that life would be much easier if it wasn’t for navigating the hierarchical system everyone exists in. Or, more likely, unnavigating it. Human is human. Why do people make it so complicated!?

Of course, we respect and love our parents, not to the point we will break God's laws though.eye level means everyone has the right to be heard and understood, and to live peacefully. When I appreciate someone, doesn't mean they are better than me. They are better in that craft, but I can be better than them in a different way, so each person is valuable to me. When I call someone out, doesn't mean I'm better than them, no. I say it because I'm concerned. They could learn from me. But, I am open to learning from them too, to the parts I'm struggling with. This is eye level. I believe, only God is good, people can work hard on being good, but we have different roles to play. Someday, the kids being led, will lead themselves when they become parents. The cycle of life. We start from the bottom, we finish at the top, it's an individual race, each person has different timing. For INFJ, there is a universal measurement, that is what we are trying to achieve, it's not dependent on people, we help people to become the best version of themselves, but we also have our best version to reach. We only use power for the good. As extroverted feelers or empaths, power is about making other people better.
