The entire car design may be iconic but tons of people still ask “What kind of car is this”. You wouldn’t know who the manufacturer is unless you follow Tesla or are into cars, for the average person this thing is unknown.

I live right by the local Tesla dealership. I haven’t seen any on the street yet but my brother did get in the one inside and he couldn’t fit at 6’5” Has no problem with the Y

I heard that the back can only do about 62 comfortably because of the slope, but the front 7ft is fine because the seat adjustments and the peek is right above you. They probably coulda made the rear seats lower if they didn't make them flip up for cargo.

Steer-by-wire is in the name (steering wheel is not directly connected to the wheels). What you mentioned is rear-wheel steer.

Your experience is based on your delivery center. I have seen the delivery center focus on the experience and some provide swag bags. But in my case, my delivery was very underwhelming plus my CT came in dirty and had minor issues which should have been fixed before delivery. I had my CT for 4 days before needing to return to the service center. It has been almost 2 weeks and my CT is still at the service center having minor scratches repaired. Guess I can look forward to another delivery day!!

Interesting. I wonder if each DC is allowed some lattitude in how they run, like a cut down version of a conventional dealership. Either way, getting an entire show is kinda cool!

I heard its prep time, Out of spec picked up theirs from the same center as dirty Tesla. But out of spec was there so early they didn't have time to fully clean it and dirty Tesla literally got a black curtain, velvet carpet, and fog machines. Mabe they just dont like outta spec.

When I picked up my Model S Plaid in Norway December 2022 it was like picking up a package at the post office. Had to grab a hold of some employee that was hanging out in the delivery lot so that they could write down the damage in the paint etc. So pretty pathetic to say the least.

Dang that sucks, when I picked up my Model X Plaid they had a giant red carpet and this whole section blocked off. Seems like every Tesla delivery center is different

I’ve owned this truck for 5 days, if I got $1 for every person that’s told me “this thing looks awesome” or wow I love the design “ I’d have several hundred dollars right now. It’s definitely different and get not for everyone. Hell my wife thinks it looks like a fridge 🤣

Imagine getting stuck in a desert with a Cybertruck? There is no way to bring a jug with gasoline. Even if AC outlet is found it would take long time just to get going. All parts are unique too, there are so many points of a single failure like enormous windshield and one wiper, rear cover, central screen, completely blind rear view if cameras are off. From functionality Cybertruck is worse than old discontinued Hammer H2

From what I get owning a Cybertruck is mostly like owning a new iPhone, the newest gadget. It's more of a 'look at me' truck if you love Tesla and Elon's antics. The feelings of new owners that is transcribed is more those of owning the truck rather than owning it for what it brings. And it's totally an American product. Not convinced and not sure it will arrive to Europe anytime soon. Thankfully...
