He analyzes and displays information really well. I noticed after this video that he always puts the "subscribe ad" almost at the finish of it. It's probably a strategy that increases the Chances of people subscribing, since there is still some (possibly vital) Information left and this triggers a response of fairness to the info provided or guilt to sub. I can see him looking at the statistics or analytics from yt or whatever it's called to figure stuff like this out after experimenting or just picking stuff like this up easily by being aware of them and contemplating about the pros and cons. Idk why i even wrote all this to a comment made 2 yrs ago lmao.

I think Izzy is so good because he has a background and kickboxing which is basically boxing with kicks. If you watch UFC fighters their movements are predicated on kicking and punching so their punches don't always look right. They look clumsy at times. But adesanya moves more like a professional boxer. I always say when I watch the UFC fight how clumsy the punches look. But when you see a professional kickboxer or professional boxer throw a punch, it's tight and Sharp and more effective. Out of the UFC and boxing I would prefer boxing any day. And between the UFC and kickboxing I would watch kickboxing over the UFC anytime much better fights.

I didn't know GSP was involved. That's cool. No. They wouldn't last in K-1, GLORY fights. There may be the odd exceptional one like Raymond Daniels in Chuck Norris's fighting league but most of them would get rolled against high skilled kickboxers.

@zwoope3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Mr Varga, would you consider doing a video about when it may and may not be appropriate to smother an opponent by moving in too close for you both to throw, rather than like this one with Adesanya's distance management? I do it in boxing and I question whether what I am doing is doing more harm than good, even by being a much shorter heavyweight, and I'd love your thoughts on it. I'm basically baiting them to clinch fight me, or try to step out so I can throw, because I regularly give up so much range. So it is a method of scoring for my effort, in my mind, and I wonder if I'm making mistakes doing it. Thanks.
@Jawmin2473 жыл бұрын
Another great video! I’d like to see your thoughts on what makes petch so dominant?
@ZenDragonYoutubeChannel3 жыл бұрын
The way I do the question mark kick is to think about throwing a frontkick and then switching intention to a roundhouse mid kick.... of course I know my intention but just think front kick and then think roundhouse kick... I like to do this transition a slight bit later than most, possibly also cuz I'm not facing elite level opponents in sparring or in my few amateur fights... tends to work well. Depending on the opponent's stance I've considered changing stance (I switch not too often, but I am comfortable with both sides) to be able to strike for the open side of the opponent... on the other hand, sometimes I connect with kicks hitting the closed side, like kicking past the guard where they don't see it. How much do you emphasise striking the open side vs the closed side in terms of shot selection?

It's a shame all these fights cannot be scored like the Olympics so you don't really beat the crap out of each other. Be safe all. Any ways great Vid.

Brain trauma is the definite negative of fight sports. I've been lucky and worked hard on defense to minimize head trauma. It's worked well. No major concussions. No issues at all. But I've heard about recovery tools that help. There's an expert in town and I'd like to get her on the channel to talk about safe recovery from concussions.

@@GabrielVargaOfficial I had to do work in prevention, the tools I mentioned will help the brain recovery quicker, there was a case of concussion/coma (featured on CNN and Dr Mercola) where he was certified brain dead from a car accident, Docs said he is not coming back, high dose omega 3 brought him back 100%. I so i ask does it protect and recover? YEP. Gab can even Hit Lerdsila, So I guess he cannot be that bad at defence (LOL). Most of us never knew what to eat to prevent. @GabrielVargaOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Each martial art is just a sport. I am proud to be one of the best kickboxers in the world but am not so arrogant that losing to a wrestler would bother me. Should a wrestler be upset is they lost a stand up match to me? No. But I've actually been working on my wrestling over the past 3-4 months so if I have a MMA fight in a couple months I will feel more confident with that element.
