Love this topic! Many years ago, back in college I studied abroad (london) without my friends and went to museums, plays, concerts, and shopping by myself for the entire summer. It was so much fun and liberating As an only child and introvert, it’s so peaceful for me to go to places alone BUT please be safe and smart. Don’t over indulge with alcohol and go alone only in the day time. This world is getting crazier and crazier by the day and trafficking is real. Be safe and blessed ladies💗🙏🏾

I went to all the Art museums in London earlier this year. It was free, beautiful and very relaxing. I took lots of pictures, met my grown son for lunch and it was wonderful. Also doing day trips to the beach highly recommend that or if you don’t have a beach get on the train or drive into the country for a day. If you’re in the UK, joining the National Trust is a great way to get out, walk or visit a gorgeous country house. Ditto the weekend markets, car boots, thrift shops. It’s all very mindful and good for the soul to spend time relaxing 😊

Really enjoyed this video One of the best Do be safe when you are out alone So many crazies out there Make sure you have a charged phone and keep it within ready access I love to sit at the park and create a picnic for myself and yes its nice to go out and not be rushed (one of my fav things is too go look at the huge selection of trees and plants they have at the local gardening centers and take as long as I wish! (I am an avid gardener ) I would be at the beach everyday and when I lived closer I was! Another is having my own spa day (at home) This is hair ,nails, face and whatever I wish to do I can spend as long as I want I usually order a few products that I am wanting to try and love this No one around to hurry me out the door and yes it keeps cost down ! I have a portable Japanese bath tub and Its heaven I soak and sometimes listen to music or read I save it for my "spa" days We all need self care

This was just what I needed, thank you for the ideas. I used to be able to do so much by myself and looking back, it literally, saves your soul. It has that magic that connects you with nature and your mind. It's liberating and gives you a happiness deep within yourself that takes you through the week. I can say I haven't enjoyed nature for years...not like I used to. I've become a hermit, sort of, during these rough times and now it's hard for me to just go to the store. I'm going to be 60 in a couple of years and it pains me every day to not have anything to do but now, I have ideas, you've inspired me. I came here not long ago on a video about clothing and how to match and wear it well. It's been years that I've tended to my closet and you helped me tremendously. Still working through it, but who would have thought I would get a video about the very thing I need in my life right now. I want to feel alive again, since my husband recently died, and this just gives me the perfect reason to live. Thank you. Bless.

As far as water, I would prefer the splashing of the waves (located smack in the middle of America) but not a big lake (there are snakes) person because it usually overcrowded and a lot of boat action. A quiet time at the pool underneath a gazebo can be a relaxing time for me or floating on a device in the pool can be soothing. Picnic for me would be finding a picnic table because too many bugs to compete with and also people don't clean up after their dogs. Yeah I miss doing the farmer markets, we use to have one that would setup behind in the back parking lot of my job and yeah you really get to know them because they came once a week and they would tell you tips on storage and cooking their products and will give you a deal sometimes. Going out to eat is not a good budget choice for now because you also got to tip on top of the price of a meal and my friends know I am not a foody and I don't drink. I like the museum idea because I have not been for a while. I run errands by myself (normally the only reason I leave home. I am trying to setup an outdoor space so I can feel like I am on vacation in my very own yard. I got a couple events coming up before end of summer that about it. With covid19 still being a problem, I wear masks when I leave the house so being at home, I feel more comfortable. I like one of your suggestions of the museum and I think they are still free but probably ask for donations. I guess I could get dress and walk around what they call the plaza that have blocks and blocks of retail shops and restaurants (not going in). Every day I wake up to news about someone being shot, in places that you would consider safe and that even in the daytime. Sigh! So, park stuff will be near my car and not so much relaxing because you have to stay alert to your surroundings at all times. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Thank you. I am divorced, being single again is challenging. My friends are busy with their own lives and it can be challenging to coordinate outings. I spend most of my time solo or with my family. I decided the other day that I was going to be good to me and not wait for others but do things alone. I will be having more solo outings instead of staying in because I may not be able to find someone to go with me, or because others may not share the same common interest. I am going to DC in August (I live in Richmond, VA) to see Kendrick Lamar alone. I had no one else to go with because the only other Kendrick fan I know personally was my former partner. I am looking forward to it, I've never been out of town by myself or to a concert by myself (but Kendrick takes a long time to drop projects go on tour). Additionally, I have lost 38lbs. have summer clothes I haven't worn been saving them for going somewhere, the other day I said forget that I will just wear them no matter if I am going somewhere or not. Not saving them anymore!!!
