I never chase. I don't cling. I don't go through his things. I don't snoop in his phone. If he wants to walk away, then I clear the path for his exit. I am not his keeper. I am not his mother. I don't babysit him. I can be his best friend if he needs me. I can let him be alone of he needs it. I have my things to take care of, and I have work to do. My feelings are my responsibility. I can be a good listener if he needs a friend. I can keep his secrets to myself. But I know that he is his own person and if he walks away, I will get out of the way, but he better respect my boundaries. I of course will respect his.

I thank GOD for you Fumi! I am 65 and I am like a student that sits at the feet of the teacher. Some things that you say are reminders of what I already know and some things you say are like a punch in the gut! Both of which are needed. Thank you a million times for your representation of a real Queen that makes me so grateful to be a Black Woman! I will share these gems with my granddaughters. Much love and respect. I am a fan for life…Denise from Philadelphia P.S. please tell me how to give super thanks

You are the queen Keeping your business between both of you is all it takes It’s a complete turn off The worst is the over caring and over calling Encroaching into your personal space. Every one needs that special at some point but some people don’t understand because you are in a relationship they think they own you .

The interesting thing is that these tips will work EVEN IN a marriage! It was on this channel i began to realize how simple men really are. We need women like these to reinforce what our mothers have taught us. No man needs a clingy, busybody woman for a life partner. Lovely episode, Aunty Fumi

Aunty Fums!!! We need a video for the long term relationships... the ones with children, the ones where it appears that everyone is "comfortable". How does one keep growing and keep him on his toes..
