Fun fact: Penny also cheated in the Attack Zone, but by that point it was such a blowout Probst didn't even care to mention it. This also means Shii Ann was the only player left on the Sook Jai tribe by the end of the challenge.

Quick honorable mention that I'm actually happy you didn't include is Stephen in the Tocantins final immunity challenge. The players had to have one hand tied behind their back as they dropped the balls down the slide contraption, but at one point Stephen fumbled catching a ball and was able to bring his arm that was *still* tied behind his back to assist with the catch. I know many have considered it to be cheating, but technically the rules never said he couldn't use the arm that was tied behind his back and I've always found that moment to be incredibly interesting and a potential clever workaround to the challenge. If that loophole was ever abused further tho I feel like a rule would eventually be implemented

About Jeff's supposed "memory loss", when he said Ben's DQ in Samoa was the first time someone had been ejected from a challenge, I think he meant it was the first time a DISCRETIONARY CALL was made to do so. The attack zone DQs were due to specific rule violations--Jeff explicitly said that anyone who made contact without being in the attack zone would be disqualified. However, in the Samoa challenge, I don't believe there were any explicit rules about what forms of contact were and weren't allowed. Rather, Jeff made a judgement call that Ben kicking Russell was unacceptable.
@YourPalJamieEllis

This sounds right--the Attack Zone had an explicit rule and a mechanic that covered what to do in case of that rule being violated. Shmergenbrawl did not. They feel different to me.

One of the BIGGEST instances of cheating that I think has the most substantial impact on the season but doesn’t get talked about as much is in episode 7 of Survivor South Pacific. It’s the final tribal immunity challenge right before the merge, both tribes are tied even with members, so this win pretty much dictates the rest of the game. This is the notorious Jack and Jill immunity/reward challenge combo. It’s nearing the end of the challenge, the tribes have to retrieve their last bag of puzzle pieces for their puzzle, it’s neck and neck, and Upolu sends out Albert and Sofie, who are blindfolded and tied together. Savaii is catches up to them at the bag untying post because Albert is taking a long time untying his bag from the post and repeatedly tries to yank it off. After a minute of Albert trying to get the bag, Albert just rips the tip of the bag off of the post with the rope still attached to it and heads back. In the episode you can actually see in the camera shot, the blue tip of the bag and rope still attached to the post. Ozzy stays there and you can see him properly untie the bag before heading back. Once they get back to the puzzle station they have to open up the tied bags which Savaii takes time doing, yet Upolu has their bags opened up first and thus goes on to narrowly win that crucial immunity challenge. I’m surprised I didn’t see this one come up and I always wonder, would Upolu have went on to have control of the season and ultimately win had Albert not ripped the bag off the post, saving time and having it already ripped open to retrieve the puzzle pieces out of? Had Albert properly done the challenge by untying the bag from the post would he have lost the lead and thus Upolu lost the challenge and possibly had Savaii come out as the victorious tribe?

Here's the hack. Alternate between moving the smallest piece (always in the same direction) as odd number moves and don't move the smallest piece on even moves (which ever of the larger pieces can move to the only place it can move.) And the moves double+1 with each layer, powers of two minus one (1,3,7,15,31,63,127...)

@@keithprivett3878 haha yeah I know how to solve it - just noting that since it takes increasingly more moves, at the size they're working with it's easy to lose concentration on the moving pattern you're doing, hence players out of nowhere putting a piece in the wrong place when they weren't trying to for the 15 moves before

Two players (I think Luke and Simon?) agree to fall into the water to let Pia win, but before they drop you can see that she's holding herself up with both arms which should technically disqualify her. People were livid at the time

Tower of Hanoi is really simple once you get the hang of it: Move the smallest piece one step left (or right, depending on where you want to en up moving, figuring out which is the hard part), then do the legal move that remains, then move the small piece again. You will end up moving the largest piece exactly once to where it will end up.

I hate the challenges where the producers know full well that people are going to get hurt. When you put people in an “arena” and tell them go at each other people are going to get hurt.

Second one is fine, he didn’t move, and an argument could be made that his confusion lasted as long as him clipping and unclipping.

Hey Peridiam, I just finished watching episode 6 of s42... and I am wondering why the time reset didn't give Applebee's to the other players... it doesn't seem to logically fit in how they made the power out to be.... which is a complete reset of who won the match.... any thoughts?

@peridiam when watching survivor Australia i found there was some pretty major cheating that happened that they ignored, did you notice anything in those seasons?

Is there a way you can put the season numbers in the bio? I’m in the middle of isle of extinction and I don’t like being spoiled Knowing what seasons are in a video would help knowing if I could watch that video

If Colby had been given soe sort of penalty,, Ambe woud have won that immunity challenge and I believe that was the night she got voted off.

i will add that with Colby ya he detached both. but then reattached his left before attaching his right then detaching his left again. i think he had a brain fart then remembered and tried to correct it. also it wasnt called since jeff was standing at the finish and couldnt keep watch of all contestants and since he is the sole ref... well if he didnt see it then it didnt happen.

Keith also cheated on the immunity challenge in Cambodia S31 E11 vs. Joe. They were holding the pole 14 feet in the air, and he had it against his stomach instead of in his hand. Joe ended up passing out and Keith won. IMO, if Keith hadn’t cheated Joe would have won long before 1 hr 20 mins. Joe ended up being sent home. When they recap E11 in the beginning of E12 you can clearly see Keith holding the pole to his chest cradled in his arm when he is supposed to be holding it in his hand.

I must be the only one who thinks that Jenna Morasca cheated in that blindfold challenge in the Amazon. Looks like she kept tilting her head back and peeking out from under the blindfold. She won.

No mention of Coach making an illegal attack on Rupert during the sumo challenge in HvV? Jeff states that both hands have to be on the bag at all times, but when Coach pushes Rupert into the mud, you can see one of his hands come off the bag. And also adding the ones from Pearl Islands where Burton initially wins the word puzzle, but then after it's discovered that he misspelled liaison, Jeff redoes it and Darrah wins instead, as well as the relay from Marquesas...at first, you have Rob giving Rotu 2.0 a huge head start by easily beating Paschal to the oars and giving John and the General a very huge head start, only for them to be DQ'd at the end and the win given to Maaramu 2.0 because John and the General didn't follow the rule that said the canoe had to be tethered within reach of the hitching post
