Me and my wife went through the worst possible scenario you can think of. Statistics say we shouldnt be married anymore. Our marriage for sure was on the brink of death. 2 years later and its 10x stronger than it was. Some times I think people give up to fast. I love my wife more than anybody on this planet. I also love my two daughters. And our kids are way better off with both parents showing them LOVE CAN WIN!!!!

Just celebrated 23 yrs this month. When I got out of the military I told my wife "now you're stuck with me all the time" lol. My wife and I travel, she smokes cigars with me and we also can do our own thing. My wife is probably the more serious introvert and I'm the sarcastic joking introvert. Now that I'm retired she enjoys my gardening and taking care around the house and my cooking, the only times she has got stuck with the cooking duty is after my surgeries. Congrats on the 13yrs and hope many more come your way.

Been with my wife for 28 years, she was 21, I was 19. Raised 4 children been through it all. The one thing that kept us together is love with NO conditions! I've been dedicated to her success and she's been dedicated to mine. We had the mindset that there is no deeper commitment than ours to each other. Now we're 46 and 49, empty nesters, with 5 grandchildren living our best lives!

Dude, just watched this video, and OMG you and your wife are just like me and mine...We each had 2 failed marriages before we got together and we have been together for 16 strong years now. We give each other our own space and we are still the best friends when together, her strengths are my weaknesses, and my strengths are her weaknesses, and we compliment each other. And we have both been blessed with each other. May God continue to bless your family always!

Good advice guys. I’m 53, married had my kids with someone that I didn’t like and stayed in it for 19 years, worst mistake of my life. Now as an older man and hopefully wiser I tell the young guys I work with to find someone you want to share a cup of coffee with because sex isn’t the end all be all you thought it was at 16. Remarried someone I liked and lost her to a brain tumor in 2012 and haven’t ever mustered the courage to do it again. When I see people like you I must admit I’m envious of what you have.

My story with my wife is very similar. Met in high school, dated for a bit, broke up, we both got married young to other people, then divorced, she reached out to me and we have now been together for 6 years! Cheers brother!
@ksteak273 жыл бұрын
Same, brother... been married almost 19 years and together for 25 years... we never fight... we just have learned to be selfless, put your spouse first, love Jesus.... never lived with her or was intimate with her before marriage.... no test drive here, but we believe that when you make a promise, you mean it for life. My wife is the only person I truely want to be with every single day of the rest of my life. On 7/20/02 I promised to forsake all others and love her until death parts us.... and I mean to keep that promise that I made to the woman who committed herself to my word. That's what real men do. Real man shit (pardon my language lol)

Hi there, guys. I totally agree with your view on the matter. Where i live, a marriage is often compared to being imprisoned (as a joke of course but that says something about overall attitude) and people instead of making a team together, they confine each other. As a Christian, who is married to a Christian, I really appreciate this advice. My wife and I did not live together, HOWEVER, we did communicate expectations and spent a lot of time together before marriage. We understood we are both different people and support each other in any way we can. I think one tip that has been amazing for us is to realize we are BOTH ON THE SAME TEAM. It’s not me vs her or her vs me. When we get upset or frustrated, we remind each other, we are on the same team. Our intentions are the same and not taking one bad decision so personal it ruins the relationship. We communicate through it and respect each other as much as possible. Love your channel! Thanks for all your content
